  1. @adamhcaldwell - I don't see how is possible to ski a greater arc-length without skiing a longer path with a higher average speed
  2. @FreddyKrueger - congratulations, the best tutorial video I have ever seen on YouTube
  3. https://www.ballofspray.com/forum#/discussion/23632/the-transition-between-dual-and-single-puck-zo-gps-hardware
  4. @Bruce_Butterfield - Great to hear that, too bad the $ exchange rate is terrible for me, guess will have to stay a little longer on my 75.
  5. I skied for many years on Goode double, loved the setup but got tired of prerelease due to dual lock fatigue. Never liked the single boot dual lock system, in my opinion only one foot may not release sometimes like it happened to you. I have been on Reflex + R-Style for 10 years, works great for me, in your case Reflex + RTP is also a great setup, the pressure on release will always be the same, no surprises on that. I wish you a fast recovery.
  6. The 190 is a great boat for slalom, the only problem is skiing short line with wind, it throws a lot of water at the skiers face.
  7. I tried that on a 2010 LXI Malibu, it did not work, I got the best wake taking off all weight I could from the stern and adding 80 pounds into the bow.
  8. @chrislandy - Unfortunately GLP/Propane is not allowed for cars and boats here.
  9. I ski at 4500' with a 6.0 200 with 1800h, still strong WOT 5500/43mph, the only gas available here in Brasil is 27% ethanol. Besides the normal maintenance, ie plugs, cables, impellers, oil and filters, I only changed an air sensor, water pump and the rpm gauge. I also ski with 5.7's MC 190, Response LXI and a local MB boat. All those 5.7 boats are terrible to ski due to the lack of power and consequent speed variation at 4500'. I don't think a better octane fuel would change anything, as I read here before, HP, love and money, the more, the best.
  10. New boats are heavier and carry a lot more drag than the old ones, unfortunately they are build for the short line 34/36 skiers.
  11. 56, currently skiing less, 2/3 times a week, 2h MTB the days I do not ski, left elbow and both shoulders hurt pretty bad
  12. @Jtim3032 - sent you a PM, please check, thank you.
  13. Always wear the kill switch. You will need some rudder pressure for a good drive, how much pressure it is a personal preference.
  14. @Horton - How are the 2 systems working side by side, do you still have different readings?
  15. 2010 200 6.0 - 1.700 hrs - Great info on both discussions, part 1 and 2, thank you all. After changing the impeller due to an overheat (my fault - impeller had 300 hrs), the temperature kept raising to 200, so I took the air out of the system as @Jody_Seal instructions and the temperature is now back to 175. One question - when purging the air out of the antifreeze plastic recipient I noticed that at idle (650 rpm) the antifreeze does not go in, I need to raise the RPMs to 800 to make it flow. Could the screen @skiinxs mentioned cause this, I have not checked it yet.
  16. Great to hear that @Dano, living in altitude of 4300 which consumes about 15% of our engines power, I noticed that a reduced prop, 11.5 or even 10.5, makes a lot better skiing as it puts the engine in a better tork range, thus, less variation on engine RPMs and a firmer and constant pull.
  17. They run lot more than 3000 if well treated
  18. @swbca I suggest you buy the book, lots of good information on it https://finwhispering.com/product-category/books/
