  1. A few years ago I had the opportunity of skiing with Mapple and asked him what were his pre-gates references, he told me that the had skied so many years without them that he even did´nt look at them.
  2. It took one entire year to heal my golfers elbow, less sets, a lot of stretching and phisioterapy, did not change my 1.18 normal handle.
  3. I do not have an answer to your question, too bad Ed Brazil is not with us anymore to help you, I just would like to say that you are my hero.
  4. @Such_a_brett - You should consider a good discount for Ballers, you got the best advise/project review possible, and for free. Great job and good luck, I really enjoyed the trip.
  5. Had some non skiing friends at home Saturday, they loved watching the webcast and quickly understood the rules, great job !!!
  6. Never had any problem with Reflex/r-style, using it for 10 years, 300 sets/year, mid to deep 38off, decided to buy it on a trip to Europe when my Goode Double Bindings needed some dual lock and I could not find it, after a couple of pre-releases due to my old dual lock bought the Reflex directly from the previous owner, Jean Marc. Reflex needs maintenance like any other binding, always check it before use.

  8. I guess I need to change my bimini to make 39
  9. I was diagnosed with medial epicondylitis (golfer's elbow) about 6 months ago through an image exam, the doctor told me to stop immediately what was causing the problem at the risk of a total rupture. I stopped skiing completely for about 2 months and the pandemic has also decreased the frequency of skiing in the last few months. I have done a lot of physiotherapy at home, there are many exercises and stretches available on the internet, just look for golfer's elbow. I still feel a little bit of pain, I estimate 2/10 but physiotherapy really helped me a lot. By the way, my problem is with my left elbow, I'm an RFF.
  10. I am glad you are ok. A few years ago something similar happened to me, I fell with my face on the handle, the protection I had (FM) did not let my head go through, my chin suffered an impact that prevented me from chewing for a few days.
  11. @Horton - I am glad you finally decided to use metrical system :)
  12. @C5Quest - Yes I will get a small as soon as my club reopens @Than_Bogan - I am between sizes at Denali´s size table so decided with Cord to go with the medium
  13. @C5Quest - I am 5´9, 160lbs, deep 38/34mph, tried the C75 medium, too big for me, my friend is skiing with it at his best right now, he is 200lbs and 6´2, mid 38/34mph.
  14. 6.0 200 about 1500 hrs - regular 87 with 27% ethanol (only gas available here) - so far, so good

  16. Boca Laguna, close to Guadalajara, Mexico, great site but you better carry your sandals inside the short because the scorpions there are really mean.
  17. 2014, Senior World at Travers, showed Dave my old Nano with many scratches in the bottom, he took my ski and spent about 3 hours fixing and repainting it. Gave me back a new ski with a big smile in his face. Such a nice person, always willing to help and spreading a great vibe around. I will miss you Dave, my prayers specially for Dawn who was always taking care of him.
  18. http://www.iwwfed-ea.org/classic/19PER06/ Today is the last training day, competition starts tomorrow, perfect conditions, will post some photos tomorrow
  19. @brettmainer - I am running my XTR with short and deep factory settings, wing at 9, skiing my best since
  20. Masterline custom 12 x 1.18, progear gloves, 73kg (160 lbs), into 38, rubber lasts max 2 years (about 600 sets total)
  21. My 2010 6.0, 1500 hrs, is running perfectly, 15W40 twice a year and only E25 Gasoline. Changed 1 air sensor many years ago and recently the water pump.
  22. My experience with a 2011 Malibu LXI: wake was terrible from 15 to 28 off @34mph, I added about 40kg (88 lbs) in the bow, never use more than half of the gas tank, wake and tracking improved a bit. Bought today a pair of MINI TAB from HYDRO TAB, will try different configurations early next month and inform progress here.
