  1. Teeter inversion table as well for me. The interesting fact is Roger Teeter invented his inversion table to deal with his back pain to be able to waterski at a national level. From what I understand he was also the owner of EP skis back in the day.
  2. Thanks Rich. Didn't even know I had a psoias muscle. Missed two ski days this week and was gonna cancel this weekend because of low back issues. Did those stretches yesterday and my back started feeling better right away.Got in a ski ride today. Thanks for the tip
  3. I would suggest to check out the tournaments in your area. I'm sure they are in need of volunteers to help out.you can surround your self with good people,be of service to the ski community, and meet new ski buddies. Some of the most dedicated people don't even ski. I know it's hard but if you want to be around skiing this might make you feel good. Good luck
  4. Awesome job!what got you through that blue line? Please share any insight.Im hoping to get to your level this summer.get into 35 but never out of it.
  5. I also have the herniated discs and ski with a back brace. The one that I and a few of the other guys I ski with use is the Valeo classic waterproof 6" belt.My back flares up if I put too much pressure on my back foot on my starts(pushing the ski forward)or bad position out of the turns.Take care of your back.Good luck my friend.
  6. Thanks for the video John.......You don't want my lot(you'd be too close to Wolfe)
  7. John I know you are very busy these days but......we could use some video of Wim in the pro skier section on this sight. I hate to go to other sights to watch him ski. Such a smooth style.
  8. I would suspect the fuel pump. That is a fairly common problem with the MC. Mine went out on my 05 X7 at about 400 hrs. Turn key to on position without engaging starter and listen for buzzing sound at fuel tank. It only lasts for a few seconds even if pump is good. If pump is bad, only replace the pump which you can pick up at Napa auto. It's a fairly easy job . If its not the pump I would still get a replacement one to keep handy. They are only $100. Good luck
  9. At $299 that Jobe hybrid looks tempting. My only concern would be getting cold when you are changing in and out of it between sets.I sort of like the idea of warm dry clothes in the baggy suit.I'm a wussy from Southern California so cold water is 50 F and cold air is about the same.
  10. Check the impelller yet?And yes it will suck water if you disconnect the hose and stick it in a bucket of water.
  11. Happy Thanksgiving.I am gratefull for many things this year. One of them is my health.I know that its best to do things for other people anonymously, but I am heading back to the thread about prostate cancer if anyone wants to join me.I'll donate some of the money that you guys saved me on ski lessons.
  12. Does the silicone actually stay on?or do you have to re apply it?Thinking about skiing this winter.
  13. I'm starting to feel guilty for buying a ski that was made in a foreign country..............ok I'm over it now. That Razor kicks arse
  14. Does the counter start with the ankles right off the second wake?Is this what helps the top skiers to keep their upper body facing towards shore in the edge change process?can someone with this down take us through a few turns?im stuck at -35 and can't figure it out. Thanks
  15. That gym place is where your -39 pass will come from.Pretty sure it's there.
  16. Razorskie1,I am Razorskier 6 at Ski West Village.Half of the serious slalom skiers at our lake are on Razors. It started with Hortons test ski,and grew from there. If any of you ballers are thinking about a new ski,you should take the Razor for a test ride.
  17. Picked up the used Razor. Ski worked as well as the lower hour one that I demoed. Awesome ski. Don't understand the lack of hype for the Razor. Ski turns sharp, rockets across course, yet it is forgiving and will get you back into the pass that you totally just messed up.Thanks for the feedback guys
  18. You start thinking about a dry suit because you haven't reached your seasons goals
  19. Think they are.The razor owners I ski with have had handle issues.May also be attributed to the fact that the ski doesn't plane as quickly as most skis on starts .Masterline makes a nice handle that is called The Carbon Handle that is supposed to last longer.Check them out, that's the one I'm getting, doesn't sound necessary for you though.
  20. Thanks guys. The ski is in the mail. One more Razor skier at Ski West Village. Now I have to go out and buy a new handle with the protection so that the ski wont cut the rope.
  21. I'm thinking about buying a used Razor that has been skied frequently and hard(-38) for 2 seasons. They were advertised as a ski that will last. Is that a true statement ? What are your experiences? Thanks in advance
  22. From what I understand,California would have lower fuel prices if it had a pipeline that went to Texas BACK ON TOPIC .....Horton was at our lake and giving away some promotional items for his site. In all seriousness this site is awesome so I do plan to buy my gear from the advertisers that keep this afloat
