  1. I'm 5' 10 200# and a bit of a hacker. Big fan of C1+, particularly when I ski the @MarcusBrown high line. However promo guys who continuously change props and even ZO head units make me bat poop crazy. Jump Props, trick props, all around props.I thought the ZO Koolaid was same pull from boat to boat. I've got two grandkids who are pretty flexible, been skiing them C1 so they'd have a strong pull off the ball and then have the boat get off them as they crossed the wakes. Worked pretty well till the last software change, now they are pulling their brains out on A1 and cant seem to get free. But then there's always Pickle Ball to look forward to.
  2. Welcome back Woody. AWSA Regionals are an hour from Denver, starting this Wed with vendors and all the latest gear as well as great competition to watch. See you there http://lakulanding.com/
  3. Read this. https://regenexx.com/knee-owners-manual/ At least you will have some evidence based knowledge. Remember, What it is that surgeons do ?
  4. So how does it ski ? Acceleration, ease of turn initiation, Stability after the wake?
  5. So, the little people want to become 3 eventers, Age 8 and 11. Super coaching from @Janicebachmier got thier first scores in the trick books. We are using some antique HOs and Connleys with a mix of HO Animal front ant RTP for single trickster. Any advice for the next step ? @eleeski @kevinlee
  6. Couldnt agree more with Bruce, size does matter.I grabbed a couple of 62 Goodes for the grandkids, biggest challenge was finding a decent binding. I wound up with the HO JR lace ups and RTPs, I had to cut the front of the RTP off to get the binders close enough for little feet. Stuck interlok on the plates and we're off to Nationals. See you in Caldwell.
  7. Really need a BOS trailer and display here selling stickers, t-shirts, old skis and ski tips in an envelope, maybe a ski tuning bench...coyote brothers fins
  8. I feel your pain, took out my left 2 years ago, OTF at wake did shoulder in and broke a tooth. Had http://www.regenexx.com/the-regenexx-procedures/shoulder-surgery-alternative/ do stem cell repair instead of surgery. Blew right one in Feb snow ski crash. No skiing for 6 weeks after stem cells. BTW this using my own stem cells. NO Planned Parenthood Baby Parts involved. Some speculation that antibiotics for sinus infection weakend tendons. Horton thinks I'm too fat and overload my 65yo body parts.
  9. Glad to have you @Dirt Super day with my noisy neighbor and that Miller whats his name guy, We had stuff going on all 3 lakes. Could not have pulled off clinic and Goode demo without @robscholl-OF He spent the day in Badals 200. Hope he gets a massage at Warman. That guy is one driving machine.
  10. @OB Pretty awesome weekend. Badals in my parking lot, had to put Dirt 2 lots away and Miller is on the next lake, there is no keeping peace. Great athlete turnout and performances, IMHO much easier to do fantasy brackets than attend the actual event for a lot of folks. Incredible work by LOC, @richarddoane @robscholl-OF worked thier butts off and skied pretty darn well too boot. BTW Big Ass PA system for rent, comes with built in announcer.
  11. @Horton Cups are even better in person. Never seen so much swag. Let Badal park next to me, Sent @Dirt to the woods with @GOODESkier
  12. @Horton For the right swag I might say nice things about you Saturday, Sunday could be marginal. Fair amount of uncertainty at regionals Life threatening injuries, tragic ski career cut short....
  13. @I5boi demos start at 9:00, first come first served. Afternoon should be good e
  14. @Dirt swing on by Winlock, an hour from Warman, were heading home after awards Sun, Miller, Badal & company on lake 1&3 Plenty of room for rvs. Maybe a hookup if Badal doesnt ned all of them. Hit me up at Ski Park. Grandson is making his tournament debut
  15. Demos are first come first served starting at 9:00 am on Lake 1, between sets all skiers are welcome to hang out at the clinic on Lake 3
  16. In case you missed @GOODESkier's post Dave Miller, Greg Badal and Dave Goode will be offering demos at Broho this Thursday and Friday and at the Winlock Waters Complex Monday July 20th. Winlock is just off I5, exit 63. PM me for camping info/rv hookups (limited) One hour from Warman Lake Regionals.href="http://www.ballofspray.com/forum#/discussion/13581/goode-demo-day-july-20-2015-winlock-waters-in-winlock-wa">ballofspray.com/forum#/discussion/13581/goode-demo-day-july-20-2015-winlock-waters-in-winlock-wa
  17. I used 'em for years footin, I would trade hands every set, clincher on right, Straightline on left, then switch. That was with a 15" handle, 1.0 from Siple. let me grip with finger tips rather than rolling the handle all the in and getting locked up.
  18. Gonna be Goode times. Badal is bringing his Big Dawg 'tique for demos. I'd pay more way more than a jillion bucks just to ski that boat. I might even be able arrange RV parking at the site.
  19. Gonna be fun at the BroHo If you need a ride before Warman come on down to Winlock for the Goode demo Monday the 20th. I might even be able to arrange a pull Tuesday if it doesnt snow.
  20. @OB since we installed the solar lake heaters we have to dump in truck loads of ice We've just had 2 weeks of 90s, its warm. Snow predicted for BroHo and Regionals
  21. Stop by Winlock Monday the 20th on the way to Warman for a demo with Dave, Miller and Badal behind a Big Dawg boat !text 253 seven three two 8423
  22. Check out thisd lot for sale in Washington state, just south of Seattle PM if your in the area, always a pull and a parking spot for a baller
  23. Pretty awesome event. Richard Zippy Doane and Rob the friendly one Schoal out did themselves in bringing big time skiing back to the Northwest. Nautique did a really great job with branding the event. Anytime you get 43 skiers in one bunch that all run 38 as easy as most us of eat breakfast you know its gonna be a good time. Announcing wasn't too shabby either. Bring the Big Dawg back to the BroHonull
  24. Keeping the Olympic dream alive it would seem me have more than enough judges and officials to develop a scoring system like figure skating with out the use of those pesky bouys. 28 off would become he compulsory long form, 38 the short form, 39 the equivalent of a triple axle with a twizzle. Falling would mean you lose, unless the judges felt otherwise. Lets purify the sport.
