  1. Who exactly is in the position to "accept the risk" for the ER/ICU staff?
  2. Large Bull-rock/Rip Rap makes ingress/egress next to impossible to do safely for people and pets. There are folks at our lakes that wish they never installed it. I would kill the grass back a few feet and use sand.
  3. Does a higher or lower end ski help you stand on the ski better? My guess would be that a higher end ski may actually help posture because it is more responsive.
  4. Be careful out there, my son's ER was slammed with trauma cases in addition to COVID-19 yesterday. Another good reason to stay at home.
  5. @thager - they do! They don’t fly that well and walk around with their necks extended quite a bit - hilarious!
  6. @The_MS They are Egyptian Geese
  7. Just wanted to let the true heros in our community - the Healthcare Workers - know how much we appreciate, love, and support them during this incredibly difficult time. I understand that the shoutouts are helping in Italy and NY. Starting off with Truman - 23yo, ER Nurse, negative pressure room. This is who you are protecting when you stay home.
  8. People don't die from the flu because of a lack of medical resources. People will only get back to work and the economy start to recover when they know that the person they are in close proximity to is not their Death Angel. That starts with universal, on demand testing, with quick results that takes place away from medical facilities to offload some of the burden from our hospital staff.
  9. Does the newest model tow boat get more exposure at a busy ski school (Cory, Jay, Jack, April etc.) or a record tournament? If I were a ski boat marketing executive I would look for places that pull a lot of kids.
  10. @JeffSurdej - why can't we retroactively go to a four year cycle for all officials?
  11. Well the 12 male athletes with bios on the USAWS website average 5' 11.25" and 162lbs. (2.28 lbs/inch)
  12. My dad was a left handed golfer and taught me - right handed - by standing face to face. Seems like a LFF (RFF) skier could effectively "dry land" coach a RFF (LFF) skier by standing face to face.
  13. Yep - $33 a PASS ($200/6 passes in a 3 round tournament) is a sure way to increase my tournament participation and encourage me to take my kids along.
  14. I filled the holes that ended up under the plate with silicone caulk and for the holes that were outside of plate I caulked and put a round headed screw into the hole.
  15. So sorry for your loss John. I had an OMG moment when I saw the picture of your mom and dad that shows how broad an influence your dad had - if inadvertently. The first time I got up on a slalom ski about 50 years ago it was on a "Jack" ski that my uncle found at the lake or river. That ski gave many people their first slalom ride.
  16. Some insight into bidding on World Championships here: https://www.ballofspray.com/forum#/discussion/17128/2018-junior-world-championships-isles-of-lake-hancock-orlando-florida-bid
  17. If you don't need ZO SNOB or 206
  18. He needs to be on a 66-67 inch ski now - so you can slow way down. A 63 inch traditionally shaped ski is for someone running the course at 34-36 mph.
  19. Online scoring to track progress may work for slalom and jump - doesn't work for trick.
