  1. We all know that a skier doing an S-Turn is in worse shape than a skier that does a normal turn and comes within a meter or 2 of the next buoy. The difficulty comes in judging where the difference should be and getting the judges all up to speed on making the correct call. We all know how that's going on the 1/4 buoy.
  2. The first year of using SurePath at pro events Will Asher came out of 1 ball at 41off in bad position and intentionally pulled long and hard to get around 2 scoring 1.5 @ 41. He was granted a reride for bad boat path and subsequently inproved is score. It was situations like that that caused the rule change to cap the score.
  3. Vince is aware of the issue and will get it fixed as soon as he can. Internet service at the lake is extremely sketchy. So it could be a day or so when he gets back to Orlando.
  4. @Horton Any advice on RV Parks
  5. The judges spent most of Stephen's next set looking at that call. I can't believe they missed it after that much time. I didn't record the prelims, but I did record the finals using my playback system so that I could quickly go back to look at calls like this. Fortunately, there weren't any close calls in the finals. I feel bad for Freddie.
  6. Full Screen Link If you want to watch full screen, here's the link.
  7. I just upgraded, but didn't move up a category 😀
  8. @teammalibu I highly recommend it. Unfortunately, I can't make it this year due to family obligations.
  9. His latest approved record is 2670.62. He beat that by 3 points (2673.70) as Fluid. His LCQ Scores combined are 2720.18, a 47 point improvement.
  10. @Mateo_Vargas It wasn't the end course video, but one on a dock at the corner of the course zoomed so you could see the entire course. Yes, it was my first webcast. I would not even consider trying that now. I can only imagine all the negative comments on here and elsewhere.
  11. Yes, it has more information, but the default should be ALL scores for ALL events. Its clumsy to get to the information 99% of the people want.
  12. Arrived yesterday. Today was a work day getting everything set up for the webcast and getting the site in order. Its going to be fun!
  13. Not the cheapest, but these are the best: https://wallyskier.com/shop%2Fbuy
  14. @chaloux I'm curious. What's your hangup with the 2018 200? I completely get it on the 2019 200 built in TENN. Not sure what your concerns would be with a 2018.
  15. @samstenzel Ask your current and former teammates. I'm your skiing source in the Houston area. I'll catch up with you at the Pony Express tournament the end of the month.
  16. Props for the new executive director doing what he can to get the sport out in front of the general public.
  17. @Horton If you have an Apple TV device, you can download the Livestream App and search for Moomba. That works best. I have also been able to mirror my iPhone screen to the Apple TV and Roku, that's not full screen, but has a black bar all the way around the picture.
  18. I guess those of us in the flyover states have to do our own math?
  19. Any embedding of the Youtube stream on another website such as BOS is still views for Youtube and everything is cool. Now, what isn't cool would be someone capturing the YT stream and restreaming in on their own thru FB, YT or any other CDN.
  20. That's not exactly true. Promo boats are getting hard to come by. We had a tournament at our lake where we used home owners boats. One of them was a 1998 SN that had been repowered with a 6.0L and Zero Off. Several skiers at the tournament set PBs behind it.
  21. @Horton I remember reading something about Regina's boatpath somewhere - I believe it may have been in some instagram comments. I can't find it now.
  22. Can anyone at AWSA or USAWaterski comment on why this video is showing up on the America's Boating Channel's YouTube page? Is there some new partnership that we haven't heard about?
