  1. Matt Bullard, a member of the 1994 Houston Rockets NBA Championship team, skied at a club in the Houston area after retiring from basketball. He's a super nice guy.
  2. Since they had low bandwidth and the original broadcast was only 360P, they uploaded the 1080P recording last night. Its available now.
  3. Just saw some 70s on Water Ski Swag for Sale Facebook group.
  4. Sounds like a dual-puck ZO issue. A couple of years ago, my dual-puck system started to hunt dramatically for speed on occasion. Usually during early evening skiing. Trick skiing and slower jumpers were most noticeable. When it occurred, the system was only picking up 4-5 satellites. Other times it would get around 9 satellites and would be fine. Upgraded to the single-puck system and haven't had any issues.
  5. Front page of BOS. Only webcasting the night finals starting at 7:00 CDT
  6. Freedom Pop - 500Mb for $8/month.
  7. My 2011 was leaking from a joint between 2 of the full metal exhaust pieces. Don't have that boat anymore to take pictures to show you.
  8. I agree. I had some kids come out to the lake to ski. We have sanctioned practice for all our ski days. I wanted the kids to get a guest membership. There was no way for me to verify the guest memberships after the fact.
  9. Make sure to dot the i’s and cross the t’s on the provisions of the sanction agreement.
  10. Elite waterskiers are subject to WADA (or some similar agency) drug testing and must report their whereabouts at all times so they can be randomly drug tested. Listen to Freddie Winter's podcast with Matteo Luzzeri for a funny story about drug testing.
  11. For awhile I skied with the opposite setup. Front foot was noticably lower than the rear Radar Vector boot. My skiing wasn't at a level I could tell the difference, but Andy Mapply suggested changing to to be more level.
  12. Access to the public base stations in Texas isn't free. I'm not sure exactly what the cost is, but everyone runs with a base station.
  13. Can't be a red flag in Texas. Its a separate refund request form and we don't have an income tax. If asked, you may need to supply receipts.

    E-15 Fuel

@lpskier In Texas you can apply for a refund of the State portion of the highway tax not burned on the highway. For the federal portion, the non-highway use must be a business use to get the refund through your tax return. https://americanboating.org/fueltax.asp
  15. Melanie has much better things to be doing than replying to bogus emails caused by a system glitch. I received the same erroneous SS non-completion email.
  16. Also, with the proliferation of flips, many of the better trickers break many skis so there aren't that many newer used skis available.

    Re-power

@Jody_Seal didn't realize they still made the non-cat version.
  18. I believe both boats will display all engine diagnostic codes on the display without the need for the Rinda Diacom software.
  19. Its debatable which binding is the safest. All I know is this one is not it!
  20. I'm 6'3" and 215 and used to run C1+ for the exact reasons you stated. The boat coming into the gate a little hotter helped to keep my speed up throughout the course.
  21. @ToddA I live at Lakes of Katy. Send me a private message if you want to talk.
  22. This was prelims of Worlds. The official score in the books after video review is 2 buoys (which I agree with for the reasons stated above). No credit for anything at 3. I don't remember the original call from the judges, but it was going to be reviewed in any case since it was such a close call. Had he gotten credit for anything at 3-ball, the score would have been a full 3 buoys.
  23. Those are some strange looking waterski bindings ;)
  24. Would you really watch a 1 hour wrap up show 10 days after the event when you already had access to the complete webcast and know the results?
