  1. I have a friend considering upgrading to a Carbon Pro, anyone ever skied or driven this boat? http://www.ski-it-again.com/php/skiitagain.php?endless=summer&topic=Search&category=Boat_3Event&postid=53445
  2. @JC McCavit how do we keep those kids skiing after college? It's 100% the best place to grow from. I graduated in 2009 and of the 10 active members on my team when I graduated I'm pretty sure I'm the only one that still participates. (a few lost interest, a few went to med school, a few had access issues) It's even tougher now with most college students graduating with a boat load of debt. (average student graduates with $37,000 in student debt these days) If we build the base sponsors will follow, not the other way around.
  3. When I moved to Utah 6 years Scot was one of very few people who was willing to give me a pull. He’s done a lot to grow the sport and is always willing to go above and beyond in terms of taking boats to tournaments and pulling people at his lake.
  4. @liquid d lol at the “National Championship” But there are several schools with great academics where someone can get a ski team experience. My time at the University of Georgia and on the ski team was wonderful and created many lifelong friendships.
  5. Has anyone tried one of the AideCrew vests? Most of their inventory is out of stock right now but was thinking about picking one up in the spring.
  6. I really do wonder how long Nate’s suspension would have been if he was 10th on the world ranking list instead of 1st.
  7. As a M2 skier who sort of skis tournaments it's an interesting predicament. Today's 20-35 year olds have more student debt than ever before making it even more challenging to afford some of the basics needed even for public lake skiing. I know for me personally at 33 without access to the ski club I'm in, I'd probably be fading out of the sport similar to every single other member of my collegiate ski team. Ski clubs and the ability to essentially buy a "season pass" like people do for snow skiing are the future. Not $400,000 lots with 6000 square foot houses. I'm very fortunate that people like @ScotChipman1 (RIP his BOS account) and @Milford welcomed me to the Utah waterski scene when I moved out from Georgia.
  8. @ToddF the Falcons tried the opposite with their concessions and ended up making more money while also selling more tickets. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/22212592/atlanta-falcons-drop-prices-make-more-money-mercedes-benz-stadium-concessions
  9. It’s 100% worth it to upgrade to the newest version of software. Call PP and they will send you an upgrade stick for a pretty reasonable cost. 9.0 and later are huge improvements!
  10. https://www.mastercraft.com/teamtalk/showthread.php?t=100069 This one is a bit of a stretch but the hours and condition are superior to just about anything else out there.
  11. @horton more than likely I’m still going to watch regardless. Just trying to make it easier.
  12. @Bill22 is correct, I don’t really care about the data but it’s much easier to listen in the car or on an airplane via iTunes. Not sure if I can download YouTube for offline on a plane, I also realize I’m a strange case that I fly multiple times weekly.
  13. Would you ever consider uploading them to iTunes podcasts?
  14. I disabled my ad blocker for BOS and honestly couldn’t tell a difference. Most of the banners were already coming through even with it on.
  15. 2, one free ski one in the course. Been fighting a back injury since last year.
  16. Pretty cool that as many girls ran 38 as guys. Lots of young talent in the sport!
  17. I skied for the University of Georgia from 2006 - 2009. Nothing but great things to say about the entire experience. The ski team became my friend group both in college and I've maintained many of those friendships into my 30's.
  18. Pretty cool to see Dave and Rob get recognized. As a former eastern region collegiate skier having Rob around to help with tournaments, all stars, and other logistics was always a great experience. It's awesome that collegiate skiing is thriving, would be great if we could figure out how to convert some of these skiers into AWSA skiers after graduation. http://www.ncwsa.com/ncwsa-hall-of-fame-class-of-2018-dave-clark/ http://www.ncwsa.com/ncwsa-hall-of-fame-class-of-2018-robert-rhyne-iii/ - written by @MattP
  19. Sun Valley, Idaho has a couple of lake and really good biking. Aspen would be another place that has both a great ski lake (Kodiak) and top of the line biking.
  20. My two all time favorites (working at April’s and being taught to ski by a Mastercraft promo guy has made me biased) 1. 2009 Mastercraft Prostar TT - Red and Black Metal flake. 2. 1995 Mastercraft Prostar - Sammy Duvall Edition
  21. @MattP might have some more contacts there.
  22. Agree with @LLUSA the Andrews institute is top of the line. Dr Andrews put my elbow back together years ago when I needed Tommy John Surgery. If you live out west another physician to consider is Dr Vern Cooley in Park City. He works with all of the US Ski Team athletes who train in PC.
  23. I'm pretty sure that Kalispell at Rosewater and Helena at No Wake would be your closest options.
  24. I owe my gf a new ski if she runs all 6 buoys, does this mean a new lyric is coming too?
  25. Boat looks great. That red really makes it stand out! Are we allowed to ask if your purchase price had 5 or 6 digits in it?
