  1. http://sacramento.craigslist.org/boa/5293429068.html @BCM I bought a very similar boat to this one earlier in the summer and I couldn't be happier.
  2. @scotchipman Broadside doesn't have rollers, although I may be biased because of where I ski. I travel to Boise for work periodically and the people at both Broadside and Gilbert have gone out of their way to pull me. If I qualify I am going to go this year, but I haven't qualified since 2010.
  3. I've been fortunate enough to ski at Broadside a few times. It skis great and Boise is a very underrated town with some great food. (Yea really!)
  4. @adamhcaldwell how do I get on the list to try one out?
  5. @jwroblew does the team have their own boat? It's possible you could have them bring their own boat that's one way to potentially make this a safer deal for you.
  6. @ob1 knows the guy's name. But there is a ski lake right off the highway
  7. I scraped up my ski pretty good at a tournament this weekend and wanted to ask all of you guys about options for fixing it. Here is a picture of the bottom:
  8. @jipster43 no wake. If it weren't for the jet skiers at Echo I could have really gotten down 35
  9. Just wanted to say what an awesome group of people we have in this sport. I had a work trip through Montana this week and was welcomed at 3 different lakes across the state. Couldn't have had a better time, even tied my season PB!
  10. @webbdawg99 I really wish I could, especially since I'm kinda actually skiing well right now.
  11. @webbdawg99 fair point, I didn't factor in the qualifiers. I'm just very curious how participation is going to look at all of the alumni regionals vs. real regionals/nationals.
  12. Right now there are currently more M2 skiers registered to slalom at Midwest Alumni Regionals than there are to slalom at AWSA Nationals. With 27 M2 skiers registered for Alumni regionals vs. 15 for AWSA Nationals. Pretty interesting, couple things Alumni regionals has going for it, half the entry cost and less travel cost with a decent chunk of skiers potentially still living near where they went to school.
  13. What all did they change? Is the shape different or just flex/rocker changes?
  14. Broadside is awesome, great people running that site. They've always been super friendly to me when I've been in town for work and needed a place to ski. Boise is an underrated place!
  15. @MarcusBrown the Collegiate Alumni tournaments would make for a great episode.
  16. @E_T how easily? I just bought the exact same boat 2 months ago.
  17. I bought a 1995 Prostar 190 with under 400 hours about 2 months ago. Cost me $9800 + the cost of perfect pass and some trailer tires (sore subject). It doesn't have ZO but the LT-1 is strong enough its tough to tell the difference. You don't need to spend 50k for a good training boat. Here is another example of a primo boat you could have for less than $15,000 http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/boa/5129720139.html - 57 hours!!
  18. Coble's, if you call April and tell her you are willing to work in the kitchen and cut grass, she's always looking for more hard workers.
  19. @LLUSA Regionals and Nationals are a whole different kind of dead. Over $100 for one round of slalom? Seems a little outrageous. The model needs to be changed. @MattP and I have talked a fair amount about this. There is a way to do it right, we just need to be willing to experiment.
  20. As a former Coble Ski School employee, tips go a long way, we weren't making much and $10 goes a long way at the bar in Lillington.
  21. @Horton does this mean @MattP is the new official BOS ski tester? He does need a job.....
