  1. Really good price, wish I was shopping right now.
  2. Surprised people are mentioning the Monza over the A1. The A1 was a huge step forward shape wise at the time.
  3. I wouldn't discount the prostar 197 either although I do agree with everyone that the Sunsetter LXI is almost the perfect boat for your family. I sold my parents Sunsetter a couple of weeks ago to a family on BOS. http://www.ski-it-again.com/php/skiitagain.php?endless=summer&topic=Search&category=Boat_3Event&postid=46772
  4. Pretty cool to see that @Sledgehammer set a new pending overall world record this week. It’s pretty wild to think about the level of athleticism required to excel in all three events like Adam does. 3 @ 41 217 feet 10,780 points https://www.instagram.com/p/BlVLeq4gSn4/?utm_source=ig_share_sheet&igshid=i3a7eczhmy3v
  5. There are a few places that do this out west. I’ve done it with a group of friends a couple of times and we’ve loved it. It was BYOBoat though.
  6. In theory if someone started started buying up 1994 Prostar 190's and 1997 Ski Nautiques, putting modern engines/ZO in them and selling them for $30,000, would it put a dent in new boat sales? My guess is no.
  7. Mike and his wife Jodie are great people, I worked at Coble back and remember them as students and hazy memories of one party night with Jodie as the bartender making very strong drinks.
  8. Agree with @MattP there are a lot of good things happening in your gate, it’s just a timing issue.
  9. @JRKoontz my parents have a 2001 Sunsetter LXI just north of Atlanta they would potentially be interested in selling that would come in below your budget.
  10. @MS you'd be crazy not to consider Whitestone if you are looking for something near Atlanta. Several lots for sale up there right now.
  11. If a better opportunity either financially or performance wise is given to someone. They’d be foolish not to take it. Sounds like that is what happened here. How many of you would turn down a raise or promotion?
  12. So the interesting thing about the crossfit open is that the events are different every week. One week is 1000 burpees for time and the next week is a max clean and jerk. Would we want our version of the "open" to be similar? It seems like the current idea is that we are floating is submitting a maximum score similar to a tournament but it can be submitted by anyone with access to a boat and course. Would it be beneficial to switch things up and have different unique events every week to try to make things more fun for the average skier? I'm picturing @JeffSurdej or @Horton playing the part of Dave Castro (the evil genius thinking up events every week) Week 1: Top tournament score Week 2: Top 26 mph score Week 3: Spin to win endurance challenge (use your second pass from week 1 as speed/line length) Week 4: Two Handed turn top score Week 5: Top Tournament Score This is a pretty rough outline, but a lot of the excitement in the open comes from now knowing what the event will be from week to week.
  13. Whoa @MarcusBrown I had no idea we were talking about that level of $$. Totally changes my thinking. However, short sub 5 minute event summaries might be more affordable and at least be a start?
  14. One of the biggest things we can learn from Crossfit is how they do promotion. Something like this after major events doing a recap would be great: Wouldn't cost much but I could see there being issues with getting footage from the actual events. Here's another example of a trailer they did to recap the Crossfit Games:
  15. I work with the guy who helped write this software: https://www.watchmegopro.com/ Reach out to Todd and see if it might meet your needs.
  16. @Chef23 I live in Salt Lake, I’m 13 minutes from the airport and if I put my boots on fast I can be riding a lift in 40 minutes from my house.

    Mint 96 Prostar

@Jody_Seal I have a 95 with an LT1, I’d love to talk with you about possibilities to add ZO.
  18. @"Fehlindra “ we tried that this summer at our lake. I felt that it didn’t make a huge difference
  19. How much does something like in that video cost?
  20. @DaveD thats probably a 4 hour drive and it could be pretty daunting depending on the weather. You'd be better off picking one or the other and skiing the smaller resort that is close by. So for Big Sky you are about an hour away from Bridger and if you go to Jackson you are about an hour away from Grand Targhee. I've skied both Bridger and Targhee and they are both great ski areas with phenomenal terrain.
  21. https://tatelake.weebly.com/ and http://skipond.com/ If you are interested in private lakes.
  22. You might get some entertaining opinions by posting this here, but go to an urgent care over the weekend and see an actual medical professional.
  23. $8900 is a lot of money. I recently paid $9999 for a 95 Prostar with 390 hours. It was pristine and needed nothing except Perfect Pass. (I also recognize I may have stolen it) I know Nautiques are phenomenal and have great reputations but your price might be high given that most buyers might think they would be putting an immediate couple thousand into the boat.
  24. I always try to disengage the ZO around the islands, that avoids the boat gassing to try to maintain speed. That could be your issue now that you are skiing faster.
  25. @Horton how much money are we talking? I bet Spray it Forward could put it towards some good!
