My ski partner bought the A1 and I bought the strada. I ski into 35off at 36 and he was at 22off at 34. The A1 felt like a log to me. It was slow and I didnt like how it achieved its angle. It took alot more effort to ski on and if you werent on the front of the ski it wouldnt turn. It carved a good turn and is stable but thats about it. If I was running late I couldnt catch up. The strada imo is faster, turns quicker and is just as stable. I feel I can do alot more on the strada. My ski partner tried my ski and he thought it was faster and just easier to ski on with less effort. He had the A1 for one year and now has the strada.
Yeah just a color change for 2011. I wonder if the ski will change at all for 2012 because its very good the way it is. Maybe they will bring out a new binding or something.
h2osmosis has a great deal on some bindings and skis and I was thinking about getting the EXO's. Who is riding them and how do you like them. I will need to get the adapter plate as well.
Yeah until I see the HO skiers using the exo's like the radar skiers use the strada boots I will not buy them. I like the concept and would love to get them but if they're not good enough for the pros then they aren't good enough for me.
I have noticed tip rise more on rossi's numbers aswell. I have been on rini's numbers from proskicoach and numbers he gave a friend of mine for 66" 6.840 (tips), 2.505-2.510, .755  I like this setup the best when the water is 75 degrees or warmer
Do these new boots come from the prodgidy chassis or mold? Or will the new boots have a new plateform? I just tried the prodgidy boots on and I didnt not like them at all. They were extremely narrow and had multiple pressure points on my very narrow feet.
All I know is that i ski better and feel better when the water is around 80. We had water near 85 then had a cold rain come in dropping the temp of the lake by 15 degress. I skied aweful and as soon as it warmed back up I skied much better. I think more of it was my fin setup was for warmer water compared to colder. I used the cold water setup that wade posted and it really helped this fall.
If your talking about between the 2010 and 2011 graphics is the only difference, they didnt change anything. If your comparing the d3 to the radar I would assume the radar is slightly faster.
Ok so how does the wally sinker work? I know you pump air into the bladder to float the system, but then how does it sink? Do you pump the air out or pump water in? I might just buy the kit and use my old ski course.
Depending on where I put it the depth will range from 10 ft to 30ft. Mostly a muck bottom with some hard spots. I dont know if I will leave it in over the winter, I would bring it up 3-4x a week and take it out at the end of the season.
Im thinking about getting a sinkable course for the public lake I live on. Does anyone have any luck with these? I would love to see some video of one actually working.
plyo should get your legs burning pretty good. I have done P90x 4x all the way through, I love it. Its the bet all body workout. I go to Bennetts in May and without skiing very much before hand Im able to slalom 4 sets a day for a week by doing this program before hand. Get ready cuz it will beat you down
