  3. Do not get the F3. Wake is not good. They changed the hull in 93,the echelon has the new hull. I have a 96 echelon and wake is decent, still big and hard but better
  4. No vertebrae. I dont have any pictures, but I have seen a few
  5. It started off as the same shape as the vapor but now it's molded into a new ski. New: shape, concaves, rocker, bevels I think and larger flat spot. New materials too- lighter. I saw the progression of a few versions. From what I hear this ski is dialed
  6. I think it's a sign. Ride a vapor
  7. I would ski behind it first.
  8. I'm still running the old vapor numbers: 66- 2.480 .750 6.870 29.25. I dont like the longer shallower feel. I give these numbers to people I ski with first to try.
  9. If it's FL, then you need to see Brooks. I've been going to him for years and he has my style figured out and expresses concepts and ideas very well. The site skis awesome and is very protected. It's always fun to see Brooks and KC ski after you. There Prostar pulls great as I usually pb every time I visit. I recently moved to TX and have been skiing with Trent. It didn't take long for Trent to understand my skiing and what I was trying to do. Hes just as laid back and soft spoken as anyone you will meet. His coaching is precise and efficient. I have learned a lot from him in the few months I've been down there.
  10. Back when Ian trapp was coaching there I slalomed 4 sets a day for a week. A nap was needed at lunch
  11. We had -5 this morning here in southern wi. Over 18 inches of ice. However, I move to San Antonio Sunday so my ski season will start sooner than I'm use to. Can't wait!!
  12. My ski partner and I are planning to head down mid May if everything works out. I can't wait to get back there! Brooks knows exactly how to coach me.
  13. What are some small, nice towns N of SA that are nice to live in?
  14. Any tweaks to the hull, or is it the same lx hull?
  15. Ive been in 2 boats that had a hard time getting up to speed. One of them wanted $70K for it.
  16. Different transmission for 15 boats

  18. Thank you everyone for the responses. I will be working for John Deere as a parts sales rep, so I will be working out of the house/apt. So picking the lake or area I can ski the most at will be the main goal. I would love to buy a house on a lake (dream) but Im young and thats not in the cards for a little bit still. I can't wait to ski in warm water and extend my ski season. Are people skiing right now?? Thanks!!
  19. I will be moving from WI to somewhere near San Antonio TX in February for a new job. I was wondering if anyone knew of a place to ski near there or someone I can ski with. I bring gas, wax boats.... Thanks Rob
  20. I had a great year skiing there. I skied there twice and pb'd both trips. I ran my first -35 at 36mph with brooks. I love the lake layout and how they ski. Planning my spring trip there soon, hoping to get deep -38. Can't beat the new mc pull, excellent wake too.
  21. It took me 2 yrs to run 28 consistently at 36. I could run 15 and 22 with alot of mistakes but 28 is where I think the gate becomes important. When I started getting coaching from Brooks Wilson is when I jumped to running 32 and 35 consistently. It was 1 Wisconsin season for each. I can feel 38 going down this up coming season
