    Ok, after reading Jason McClintocks blog on the front page I (again) find myself very intrigued in the Obrien Elite bindings. Is there any info, pics or release dates scheduled for these yet?

    I agree with all of the core exercises. That is definately your best bet! I hurt the L5 S1 also and hadn't skied for 7 months. This Christmas I got the Power Vest and I truely believe that the PV will now allow me to ski again. At first it is a little cumbersome but you get used to it quickly once you get it adjusted correctly. I'd be done with out it! Good Luck!

    Ya, I wasn't terribly over weight, 6' and 218# when I was first diagnosed my thyroid issues. Also, I felt good but now I'm down to 187# and feel alot better!

    Chef, Have you ever had you're thyroid checked? I've had thyroid issues for years. The last 3 years I'd been on a rollercoaster ride of med dosages. 4 months ago I requested to see a specialist. That has been the best thing I've ever done! With in 3 weeks I lost 22 pounds! I haven't been able to ski yet with the new weight loss, but I'm sure it'll help! Gonna try it over Christmas vacation. Hope the new Power Vest allows me to ski on my new Strada! Fingers crossed! XXXXXXX Oh ya, what did I learn in 2010? I learned that there "actually" is life without skiing. Imagine that???

    I'd take one, but I just spent $640.00 on a P.V. (OUCH) The Baller Vest looks much cooler! I sure hope this thing works like they say it does!

    I've never done it either but remember reading somewhere that both Jamie and Rossi "used" to do it. I don't think that it was much, 1/8" or less. I'm sure Gloersen is trying to show us something??? What are we supposed to do with that? copy and paste?

    If we're trying to be more open with our hips on our offside would it be better to rotate our front boot slightly towards our little toe and keep our rear boot straight? I'd be interested in hearing theory about this???? Wouldn't that make it easier to be more open?

    Has anyone tried a Johnny Horton fin a Strada? If so what were your findings?

    I've been moving my fin forward, making it shallower and longer for cold and the opposite for warmer water (boots move forward and back to follow the fin) and it has worked real well for me but now Rossi has an article saying exactly the opposite.?? I know what I'm doing has worked real well for me, but that Rossi article has me real confused! I guess I should try it to find out for myself.Â

    Not a bad idea! I gotta get back to skiing again soon. I haven't been on the water but once since fathers day. Still nursing my back. WAAAAA!!!

    Very Interesting!!! It'd be fun to try! I think we're about to see a bunch of new exciting tech changes i.e. the Connelly V and all of the new shapes that have come out recently. Cool stuff!

    Chuck, are you noticing that the tip stays down better like Eric mentioned? Intriguing design for sure! As for the feeling of additional cross course speed, could that be due to water temp? Â

    Ok, Chuck says that you use this in conjunction with your regular fin. How does this work? Wouldn't it create alot of turbulence and cause the tail to blow out? They sure don't give any explanation of how it works????????????
