I just ordered a new ACME 515 for my 2001 Response. I got it from Wake Props in Oregon for $370 no tax and free shipping. I asked if it was a sale price or not and he told me that as of Jan 1, ACME is raising there prices so the same prop will be $470. The price of metal has gone up and ACME is also starting to dictate their prices to thier suppliers. I dont know if its BS or not, but if your in the market for a new prop you may want to look into getting it a little early. I was hoping to wait until spring, but dont want to pay an extra $100. I know apple dictates their prices too (by the way I have no connection to Wake Props, i live in Canada, it was just the best price I could find)

I'm looking for opinions on a camcorder. I want to use it for my skiing, but I also have a family and would be using to for them, hockey, gymnastics, soccer, family trips and birthdays..etc. I would want to mount the camera to the pylon when skiing. I am considering a GoPro, but dont know if this is any good for anything else. Are they good at zooming in? What are the pros and cons to them. Also is there any others I should consider, thanx

I have a 01 response and I'm looking at SG for the spring...jsut curious, with the no magnets system, do you still need to set it up initially with a course that has gate magnets?

i beleive the boat is in redding, not sure if that helps, i dont know anything about the area other than the pictures ive seen on the internet. cant wait to go. Where im from we dont get into wetsuits until the water hits about 65, unless the air temp is cold too, wasnt sure if i would need the drysuit. I'll try to find out what dealer he bought it from

Just looking for a little help. I live in central Canada. My buddy bought a wake board boat near Lake Shasta. We are going to go pick it up in mid November. While we are there, we are going to try doing a little wake surfing. What is the normal air and water temp during that time. I need to know if I should be bringing a wet suit or dry suit. Any tips on where to go.....tx

Thanks for all the input...I found a dealer in Michigan who had 2 67 A2's new in the box, sold one to me for $650....Im a happy man, just waiting for it to get here....too bad i will probably have to wait till next season to try it....I was curious to try an S2 but hear so many conflicting stories about it...seems you cant go wrong with the A2

Looking for some opinions on a new ski size. I am currently on a 67.5 A1 and i'm going to upgrade to an A2. I cannot afford an A3 so I'm trying to find a cheap A2, looking for a factory clear out or a demo. The question is what size, there seems to be more 66.25 than 67.5. I am 5'11, 192 lbs, pb is 2@38 at 34 mph. I am hoping to drop 5-10lbs, (but who isnt). Can I get away with the 66, or with the slower speed do i need to stay with the 67. If anyone has one let me know.

hey deke, that was a typo on my part, like you said it is 15w40, didnt know if marine grade made a difference. Was also not sure if the air/water temp would make a difference, max waer temp would be is 82f but usually through summer its high 70's, air is usaully high 80's through july.

I am on the reflex with the r-style rear boot. went from older animals. i have had several nasty falls and no problems. absolutely love the set up and trust it completely. seth did the set up for me. the way mine is done, you cant angle the rear plate, dont know if you could with another plate. call seth he would be happy to talk about it, and recommend something else if it isnt right for you. no better customer service around.

I was hoping for a little help from you Jody or any other engine tech types. I bought a 01 response lx this year with the 325 monsoon. the specs say to run penzoil 10w40 marine. I cant find this oil anywhere up here. I am in Canada. Napa carries 10w40 non marine oil. Is this the same thing as marine oil. If not can you recommend an alternate engine oil to use. tx for any help.

Several years ago I had an HO ski that split on the bottom. It was a year off warranty(I think this was a CDX). I spoke with Trent Finlayson who put me in touch with his rep. He told me if it wasnt impact damage he would give me a new one. I took it in to our local pro shop who confirmed it wasnt impact damage. They took the ski back an replaced it with the new model for free even though the warranty had expired. Cant beat that!!!

I know everybody beats this one to death but i am looking for some guidance. I have a pb in the course of 1 @38, 34mph no zo, I mostly do free skiing because thats what my boat crew does. There is zo in the boat. I am going to compete this year, so i will be spending a lot more time in the course and will be using zo. I am looking for some input on what settings are recommended and what is the difference between the settings so i can figure out whats best for me. Any help would be appreciated.
