D3 changed the sizing down some and had tons of complaints that the palm strap was way to long, so they actually listened to the majority of customers...they seem to be about one size smaller this year from last.. Same great gloves just resized this season so, to fit the same you would pretty much need the next size up and all should be well...I warn my customers if they wore them before..great reason to buy from waterskigirl LOL :)

FYI Black Tec shirts, shorty's and full suits finally here in all sizes...bad news, nothing like missing spring...good news, early for fall LOL!

17 years ago our egos got the best of us... I agree with the guys, they have given up the real deal in this lake ownership world. True words of wisdom from those who have lived it! It is more of a commitment then one can imagine...Best thing we ever did was not take on any partners we have had enough battles over the years with the two of us trying to agree on something let alone adding another opinion. That said, the whole enchilada has been on us and that has certainly not always been fun either...changed everything! Result great... road... long, uphill and Very bumpy! :)

Yes, a picture of a Black Tec Shorty...sent the first suits out yesterday to some Ballers and asked them to give their reviews when they try them. Still not sure what Camaro's problem is in producing these suits...only recieved Shorty's and only size Large...next ship date is June :(

They are on they way to me scheduled arrival Tuesday 4/16, since they will be new to me, the best advice is to see what the other Ballers who have them think. Camaro says they are very similar to the Titaniums, no silver coating all black. $180usd

Yes, they are black inside and out...I ordered the long suits that are 2mm. How about warmth and comfort?

I really hate to add more confusion to the marketplace but because the BlackTec full suits are so delayed I wanted to have a full suit choice in the shop. I had the opportunity to bring in new Open Cell 2mm suits from Camaro... These were what they sold for years before titanium and were still sold in Austria until recently I remember reading that some Ballers had them...so I'm looking for feedback if you have/had one what did you like or dislike about it? Thanks

Yeah, here's to hoping the 1mm is super warm for its thickness...Horton is really the only one that knows around here. Already gave my opinion(more than once) to Camaro, that is why I picked up all of the 2mm Titaniums I could. Couple things, the Titanium suits are a little delicate the silver top coat is thin, so it will blemish does nothing to the performance of the suit though. BlackTec won't have that issue because it's black all the way through. Everyone around here that tested the BlackTec 1mm last fall loved them and thought they were warm. The new BlackTec will be out there in Ballerville very soon and then you guys will tell us and we will all know how they do. That is the advantage to a forum like this, we have a place to get the straight story immediately, good, bad or ugly!

Finally some good news from Camaro, the Black Tec suits are on the way to US retailers. Only the 1mm shorty in this shipment...anyone interested can order them now from my shop (or check with a Camaro dealer in your area) they will ship to you the week of April 22! www.robbysskishop.com

Hi All, I have attached the Camaro size chart, but agree with the guys go up especially if you have a big chest or big shoulders for sure. If you have pencil legs or arms that is where the next size up could seem a little big. Last shipment of Titanium 2mm shorty's arrived should be last one...next thing will be BlackTec Shorty 1mm, hope that helps. www.robbysskishop.com

Yeah, actually no replacement for a great deal on dye, using any amount! Who amoung us can't stand to save a buck or two with great results!

We have spent more $$$ than I even want to remember, trying every color and dye known to man...I have also spent more hours than I want to remember researching the subject of lake water/color. From what we have learned it's more about the particulates in the water than so much which brand or type of dye. We spent many years much like the tinted murky Mississippi look no matter how much or what brand we put in. I just snapped these light is not quite right but this is color and clarity today no dye since end of last August, we added 12 quarts of Blue Lagoon. So we have found the best way to save on dye is to reduce turbidity particulates. Saving us tons of $$$$...if anyone has questions feel free to ask, I could write a novel!(but I won't) LOL

Black Tec update...straight from Camaro today! Black Tec Monos/Shortys should be to USA dealers by the week of April 8th, Full suits and tops not until May sometime :( bummer for spring getting kinda late! Remember if it mskes a difference to you... The Black Tec Shortys(and tops) are going to be 1mm, only the Black Tec full suit is 2mm. The Camaro Titaniums are the last of the long sleeve 2mm shortys. Appreciate the Baller support :) no more Larges here...anyone smaller or bigger you are still in luck!

As of today the word from Camaro on the arrival of Black Tec is mid April at the earliest :( bummer! I am thinking that they definately have a different opinion of spring than we do here in the US. A couple reminders...the new Black Tec long suit will be the only 2mm in that line, the shorty and top are 1mm. I did manage to get one more shippment of Titanium Monos/Shortys they are 2mm, I have all sizes now but this will be the last of them. I will post the actual arrival date for Black Tec on my site, as soon as I get it for those who are still interested.
