  1. Color...Camaro wanted to clearly change the look of Modetec suits from Titanium. There was too much consumer confusion when they looked exactly alike but were priced so differently...hence BlackTec.
  2. Placing my order for the 2013 Camaro BlackTec line and I ran across these 2 new items in their line. Both things desgined to solve problems waterskiers constantly are bothered by...slalom shorts that bucket and shin guards that never stay in place. Not sure how either will work out but, wanted the ballers to get the first views! Both cool ideas, I am going to bring in...we'll see how they work! www.robbysskishop.com
  3. Good news, Bad news, Camaro USA is currently out of the Titanium 2mm long suit XL---More demand than they planned for! :(
  4. Razorskier1---call the folks at Camaro USA they will take care of you with that suit... 253-867-5735
  5. Of course there is a discount for "Ballers", where would we all be right now if not for this forum, to keep our sport connected worldwide!
  6. FYI we are a full line Camaro dealer here on the West Coast in Cali and have lots of Titanium suits and Impact Vests in stock as many of the Ballers already know from purchasing from us...Thanks you can see some @ www.robbysskishop.com or call for anything else...
  7. We sell both the Eagle and Camaro here @ www.skisunsetranch.com/gear Eagle is less $$$$ Camaro high tech with more thickness choices and long and short 0.3-2mm depending on your needs for weather conditions. People who have tried Camaro love them 3 year mfg warrantee too, here is a of one of our guests wearing the 0.3 Camaro she loves it! Looks cool too:)
  8. Just started selling Camaro, wearing one myself... They do run small, similar to Eagle sizing(sell them too)that I am very familiar with. Camaro is really comfortable and good if plain black suits you. Really like both vests think they are just very different looks and the Camaros are also longer in the back--- so for tall or long torsoes might fit better than Eagle. I seem to float the same as with the Eagle, although there is more padding in the rib area for sure...Prices are similar, I will be interested to hear your thoughts.
  9. Lovin our brand new 2013, new wrap and all!
  10. Our home for the last 17 years!!!! Some call it "Trimble's" we call it "SkiSunsetRanch"!
  11. SOLD!!!!!! Yeah!!!!!! Our 2013 will be here next week, any takers???? :)
  12. Yes we are staying with Centurion...this boat works great for what we do...don't need the open bow...wakes are good at all speeds and lines, it has plenty of power...I really have put most of the driving hours on this boat myself, doubt there are any that have been tested like ours, if something bad were going to show up I think we would have seen it? You do have to drive it, its not a point and shoot boat, (we had 196's for years)...my biggest issue is the seat does not move up enough for me, I'm not even short, but it's just to far back...nothing has ever broken, seats look like brand new...for our HOT climate I have picked a lighter floor in the next one, but the rubber flooring is money and has held up Very well...not sure why there aren't more out there, tough nut to crack I guess?
  13. Could not sell it back then for $25k it did not have the 900 hours on it....sorry :( the boat is White with a Carbon Black stripe and Centurion will put the original decals on it for the new owner when we remove the wrap...As far as dealers, I'm not positive, but don't think dealers sell this boat anywhere thinking it is factory direct???
  14. Wish-- the boat has lots of pics on Ski-it-again Ad #20371
  15. We are selling our 2011 Centurion Carbon Pro for $25k with a trailer(tandem), it will have 900 hours on it, but I really think it is a great deal. At that price it has Zero Off, it is a current tow boat that is still being made and has been well kept and truly drives like butter, I should know I have driven 80% of the hours myself! I see lots of posts about folks looking for this price range but??? Yeah, it will have 900 hours soon, but there is also talk about that not being such a big deal??? Curious on feedback why or why not a Carbon Pro? Thanks, can't wait to hear what the Ballers think!!!!
  16. Won't be a better deal out there than our 2011, I guarantee that! :) Not a better drivin' or skiing" Carbon Pro out there!!
  17. Matt, so glad someone out there has used it...too bad that it has been around this long and this is the first we had heard. We all spend so much money on other components, but struggle on the little coaching changes that can make such a big difference! I really am excited to see what we can get people to do with this cool gadget---Stay Tuned! :)
  18. We recently received our first blind skier booking at the ranch...to say the least we were a little apprehensive. We have heard of all the stuff people have used for blind skiers, horns whistles ect. and nothing made us feel comfortable pulling a blind skier on a slalom lake that has turn islands! So, in a conversation with a friend that had been to The Masters and saw the system, he suggested we research Headzone? (http://www.headzone.com/) We did... and before anyone thinks I work for them, or got one free--wrong-- we bucked up and bought the one helmet system. I'm here to tell you it was money well spent! It works great, not only for our blind guest but, we have used it on every guest on all lessons this week and the results are amazing! How many times at the end of the lake have you told someone to change or do something, only to have them tell you they forgot or don't know they are doing it? Have I made my case??? Real time coaching! The ability to tell the skier before or when the need to do or change something!!!!! Is it for everyone no, I get that... but does it work? YES! I could go on, but I will spare you...if anyone has questions feel free to reach out and tell you what I know so far...from here on out it will be a standard here at the ranch! Thanks all!
  19. Solution: Bring Both! :) We are here everyday until Oct31st... Poor Horton, you get cut no slack!!!@
  20. Thanks for the compliments and great pics, gentlemen :) Horton, you are welcome anytime you are in the neighborhood!
  21. Cool thx, have you noticed much difference @34 or if you shut the boat off at each end?
  22. So, with fuel prices skyrocketing just before the waterski season, it begs the question...what have you guys figured it truly costs in fuel in say 8 pass slalom set/15min? :)
  23. Robby Trimble 50ish, we own a private lake in the Sacramento, CA area...skied tournaments for years...only I was never very good under BIG pressure, ran 35 off in tournaments, but really could not be consistant. Won a few, lost more...started "SkiSunsetRanch" 8 years ago with my husband Doug, who by the way is a saint... A. he's married to me B. he is a great coach, he truly has the eye and the patience! Still really love the sport and really love the school/vacation experience that we host now. At tournaments most people are unhappy, very few ski their PB at a tournament, at our school everyone is happy, they always get better, whatever that is for them. Bought into the Centurion Carbon Pro early and were nervous, but as you know, are really pleasantly surprised and happy with the boat...Still ski alot, more than most folks entire season, love the people we meet that come to the school, love the opportunity to help them see how to do it right! Anyone out there who thinks you want your own lake...whew, that's a big load...better to make me an offer and get it ready made! BIG thanks to Horton, for giving our sport a forum without this, where would we all go???? Thx, RT
