  1. Cool website for Fin Firkin http://www.shortline-sports.com/
  2. @brooks Any way you want to publish price per set? Or, price to private lake in Michigan?
  3. @brooks I'd like to visit you some day. We're frozen solid up here (Michigan). I need all the help I can get. Keep up the good work!!
  4. @brooks Where is the Boarding School located? No mention of the location on your site???
  5. Wow you guys are amazing. You can tell it's winter when @MISkier is taking pictures and demonstrating handle grip. I'm RFF and I hold the handle wrong. Maybe next spring I'll practice the correct grip.
  6. @swerveit Right elbow, inside (golfer elbow), right foot foreword, Right hand on top, Right turns, Same handle and Rope. Thx.
  7. @mwetskier, @Drago, @Wish, @GOODESkier Yes you are all correct. I like my gloves so I'll try my finger tips and lighter grip. I'll play with letters and numbers on ZO. So far I've used A2 and B2, prefer A2. I'll choose more combinations. My hookup was more sever when I was on a Strada so I switched to D3 Fusion, much better. I was fine all year until the last month on Zero Off this Fall. I worked every day during the winter months with P/T for the elbow, it was gone by spring. More P/T this winter.
  8. The last month I've skied on a friends boat with Zero Off instead of my Perfect Pass Classic boat. My elbows kill me. Two things where drastically different. 1) We spin after each pass and he must pull the throttle back to avoid Zero Off from trying to maintain speed. Then after the turn he let Zero Off take over and the acceleration from maybe 28 to 32 killed me in the setup. 2) In the course there is constant acceleration through out the pass, this is fine but plays hell with the elbows. IS THIS WHY THERE SEEMS TO BE MORE ELBOW PROBLEMS??
  9. Wipe it down with microfiber cloth after every use. Remove liner and let it dry after every use. Do not wax bottom. I use Mcquires No. 9 on the top once and awhile, but if you wipe it consistently it always looks good!! ,
  10. @skialex Loved it this morning. Tip seemed better but from my vantage looked tip up. No observer this morning so no input from boat. I'll try 9.5 tomorrow. Will that slow me down at the buoy? @LeonL‌ there are a lot of adjustments on the back and on the top of the Sequence plate. The problem is Goode doesn't provide two inserts I need for the center. If I keep this ski I may get that micro adjust gadget or use some Velcro to secure the center.
  11. @Chef23‌ it's a 65.25. I have the boot set at 28 10/16. I only using 4 inserts on the Sequence Plate. Safe? DFT .705
  12. @SkiJay bought it on SIA. FREAKING. NIGHTMARE. I'll drill the plate. My ski bud will help me.
  13. I will drill the plate. @skialex Why 9.5 instead of 9.0 wing?
  14. Definitely heat mold them. I wore 2 pair of socks and stuff extra room for big toe. I used Fluid Motion (Jager) molding advice without buying the kit. A little scary putting liners in oven but its all good.
  15. @Horton @Chef23 No Velcro for me but thanks. @Than_Bogan I am able to set to 28 10/16". But, only by sliding the plate into position and only using 4 inserts. I can't use the center 2 holes. Will that be safe? Should I drill a couple holes? @MrJones I was going to dremel it out but I'm not very handy.
  16. Just got the N1. Had a D3 Fusion. I use Radar Strada bindings on a Sequence Plate. The N1 has inserts from factory. Specs call for the front boot to be set at 28.75". I can only set at 29.00. Now what do I do? I skied only 8 sets and I am puzzled. I hate to do fin adjustments. Can some one walk me through? My fin is set at:> .705, 2.494, 6.769 Wing 9.0.
  17. May 8, first time out. Only 4 passes. Drysuit, 50 deg, 5-10 mph cross course wind. Tried my new N1. I skied horrible. Better days are coming, I hope.
  18. Masterline Custom, 12" Straight, 1.06" dia
  19. I use the card board tube from a carpet roll. I cut a piece to the size I need. Some times I insert over a ski sock other times I slide over the ski and insert ski in the bag/tube. Does not cost anything and won't scratch.
  20. @Steven Haines Sweet looking boat. How'd my dog get on your swim platform (your dog looks just like my little rescue)?
  21. What makes the stock numbers 'THE NUMBER' to shoot for? Are stock numbers a average of a group of pretty good numbers? Are they from 39 off, 36 mph skiers? Why do these stock numbers have to be so precise?
  22. East wind at 10 mph is our limit. West wind at any speed is OK. Head/tail at 10 mph gives us at least half a course to ski.
  23. Get them from Ed at www.EZ-Slalom.com. Best price I've ever found and of COURSE it's @Ed_Obermeier.
