I bet you said the same thing about Perfect Pass and ZO. Probably don't like power windows in cars either.

Actually i was part of the in house development team at Correct craft that brought perfect pass to the oem. we did first.

And yes i drive a car with no power windows, was an option on a 71 GTO.....

  2. here's the key. as a skier run a lot of your opening passes and don't shorten the line. giver her some repetitive experience. also as a skier be patient and make your suggestions easy and with a smile.

however some people just don't get it and never will. they have to want to be a drive too..

my wife was one of those. when we had and skied behind the old flabottom v drive she could hit a 16.09 all day and in the lane. put her in a real tournament boat she struggled and does to this day even with all the electronic gadgets and boats that run on rails...

@The_MS there is a lot of BS around the electric vehicle industry but when you look at the performance of Tesla and other electric cars I have to say I am looking forward to electric ski boats - once the bugs are worked out ( cost, charge times, battery fires, electrocution and such )

@Horton you should write yourself a panda on that one.

    @The_MS safe one!

@Jody_Seal what about the stories of warehouses full of remanufactured motors at Indmar? is that Urban legend?

I personally seen it about 10 years ago. what has happened to it In  the last 10 years or at least since Correct Craft acquired it I don't know.  if I know Correct Craft it quite possibly all gone to scrap..

  5. I am not sure as the acquisition had a whole lot to do with the decision as more the availability of the platform.

Quote from pleasure craft management: "As of right now we do not have any engines for this application that we can offer as we have exhausted all of our 6.0L for Repower engine builds and GM is no longer producing them."                                                                                                                  Bet a dollar  that the base engine for all PCM oem builders will be the H5 series in the real near future. wonder what Ilmor and Malibu will do or how many 6.0 engines did they rat hole?

Keep in mind this happened to the small block Chevy about 10 years ago. most everything one can imagine on that  platform can still be had in a aftermarket vendor. Now same with the 6.0 there will be availability in the aftermarket..

  6.   thought I would pass on some information I recieved from Pleasurecraft marine national sales manager yesterday.

those of you that thought you would repower your older non catalytic boats will not be able to do so as PCM has ceased production of the 6.0 repower platform. was notified that the 6.0 engines are alloted for oem builders In a catalytic exhaust format.

The H5 and H6 can be procured for a repower but be advised a lot of moving bilge items around will be necessary as will In many cases engine box modifications.

cost to repower with the H series engines will nearly double the cost of the non cat platforms.

  7.  OK! another thought here!

So the whole USAWS push was to get three event in the Olympics? Pan Am is Olympic level  event? So i have been told. Kind of Defeats the purpose of the last 25 year drive!!

Make a Olympic level event available, yet waste an opportunity for a real competitor to participate for a gold medal! what kind of message does that send to the young potential up and coming skier as well as membership or sponsorship or even growth potential???

  8.  i think for the usa and how they go about the team selection or member assignments they should at least verify that the team member has the proper accreditation to do so.

Having a team trials for these events would vastly improve the knowledge that they assign the rite skier to the events they are qualified to ski in. i know of a number of overall men 3&4 that can trick near 8k, jump near 200 and don't mind 36 mph..

Having team trials also gives a true acknowledgment through out the sport as a whole as the selection team gets to make a selection decision based on game day performance and previous qualification.

I guess if the powers to be in the sport did anything productive and useful, we would not have anything to bitch about...
