    have you considered, that you are breaking at the waist as the primary problem, and that is pulling you rear heel up? It doesn't happen on your onside turn, because you don't break at the waist on that side. I suspect, if you sort out your offside turn, your heel shifting problem will go away. I would suggest that you get a lesson and have them check your set-up.

    Edwin Moses: Edwin Corley Moses is an American former track and field athlete who won gold medals in the 400 m hurdles at the 1976 and 1984 Olympics (U.S.A boycotted 1980). Between 1977 and 1987, Moses won 107 consecutive finals and set the world record in the event four times. 10 years without a loss in track! Unheard of dominance.

    Interesting factoid. His brother Greg was on the Canadian Freestyle Snow skiing team as well as the national waterskiing team. He podiumed numerous times on the FIS World Cup Circuit. George, you sure did inspire a lot of young Canadians! Including me!

    Expensive, and won't work on every style of lift. It does allow for waterline covers to be easily put on and taken off.

    @DangerBoy JCraft boats is building a new outboard ski boat up here in Canada. They are equipping the boats with Yamaha engines, all with Perfect Pass. I'm sure they could help you with how they are setting up the outboard PP. https://j-craft.com/

    Question for those watching: They have shown numerous skiers wade into the lake and wash their hands prior to skiing. Anyone know why?

    I don't know the answer, but a possible criteria to consider would be the percentage of wins in competition. I suspect Nate is very high in that regard.

    I doubt that, the ski is the problem. Did you have someone help you set it up? Do you know what fin settings you are using? Boot placement?

    Try degreaser. Dilute it with water... Try it in an unseem spot first.

    Good for you! You are working way to becoming a waterski dude! For sure, find your way to a ski school, even if it's only for one lesson. Get yourself a pair of decent ski gloves. Your hands will thank you and you will look so much cooler! Part of the journey.

    Elizabeth Montavon had a post on instagram about this. She says she struggled with the change until sh heeded the following advice. Slow down two speeds at your opening pass. Make that and increase to down one speed. I presume, she means two mph per speed change. She says that after that your opening pass will feel just like it used to. I would add, keep the top buckles fairly loose at first.

    My son moved to the double highwraps to a front reflext and rear HRT and liked it very much. He has since moved to a rear kicker. Both Matt Rini and Drew Ross suggested that if you can ski with a toe loop it's better. They also said that not every finds it comfortable to do.

    You have two choices. 1) find a custom shop to make one for your boat. Have them do the entire job. 2) find a shop that will use your current skins as a pattern to make new ones. Then either install them yourself, or find a local installer. There are no places to buy a premade set for a boat that old.
