  1. I found one for $14 at the thrift store. It's now the 3rd place trophy for the 2020 Ski League.
  2. I've been using the Tidal vest this year and I like it. I think it will last longer than the Drifter that I used previously.
  3. Wow, I've heard of Texas style jumping with the boat on the opposite side of the ramp but never saw it before.
  4. The commercials are better than the Super Bowl. I like the Wakehouse ad.
  5. Is anyone have the same problem? I've been calling the numbers listed on the TV ads and keep getting wrong numbers.
  6. Planting the seed is easy. Consistently adding the water seems to be the hard part.
  7. Maybe they can put a little hockey guy on the trophy?
  8. Here's this year's 3rd place Berkeley Ski League trophy. I found a Horton fin at the local thrift store and put it to good use. It was $18 with a ski attached to it.
  9. So @LoopSki was onto something when he cut off the tail of a 67" for his kid?
  10. I've retired from competition, well until the Delta Fall Open
  11. So cool. If that was taken at the same time as the other video then it's from the '69 Nationals. You can see it on the ramp.
  12. My spy sent me a video of the Auto Steer testing.
  13. I ordered some stuff this spring and the website was different. Order shipped from Utah so maybe Marine Products bought him out.
  14. I've ridden a lot of 68" Vapors into 38 and always liked short/deep settings. The 2017 was the best but haven't tried any 68's since 2018. Last year rode the 67" Senate Pro with TFin's short/deep settings. Lost weight so riding the 67" Vapor this year.
  15. @dave2ball you might want to explain in what capacity you've been involved with all those BUIs
  16. I had a similar experience that @bishop8950 described. Slack rope looped over my head, I put the boat in neutral, put both arms up to keep rope from strangling me, rope caught the throttle and the tug from the handle put the boat in full reverse. In an instant a foot high wave of water went over the windshield and all but about 6 inches of the boat was above water. I never felt the rope tug on my arms or neck because the throttle took the hit. A shock tube probably could have prevented the ordeal.
  17. The sharks are gone so we can get back in the water now.
  18. How about running an old folks home on a ski lake? Just roll out the judges when you want an official score. Kids would love to visit if it involves a ski ride.
  19. Hint hint @dave2ball. Make it happen.
