  1. Looks like Dsmart is riding the Vice? Saw a Carbon Pro in one of the pictures, did you guys ski the boat and how did you like it? Kevin
  2. Thanks guys, I will start with that for DFT.
  3. She told me she ordered a 65.5, so could be. Or could be a 65. I didn't check the web site for sizes.
  4. One of the girls at our lake just got a new Strada. What are people finding the best setting on this ski. She is going to ski it stock first. Looking for direction to go if she wants a change and what people are having luck with. Thanks, Kevin
  5. The tournaments are not an issue, I'm going anyways, so towing a boat there is not an issue. Plus being chief driver at a few, knowing a boat will be there will help. :) Kilinger, good luck on the first year. MC is a great boat. Like the new look this year. Kevin
  6. I have a question for Promo boat owners. I might have the opportunity to join one of the major promo teams. I have done the promo deal in the past with MB, so I know most of the details of dealing with a promo boat. The hardest thing about MB was that no one in the general public knew what the boat was (1990's), so it was hard to sell. I was wondering how individuals were having success selling their boats in the current economic times. I like the idea of a Promo sales tool like on Ski-it-again/Ball of Spray. Any other tips/suggestions on dealing with a promo boat would be helpful. Good or bad. Thanks, Kevin
  7. I like to overall, and tricks is another chance to be on the water. I look at it like this most tournaments are only $5 or $10 more for three event and I get 6 rides in a weekend instead of two. So I keep practicing my tricks. Good thing they score on completion of the trick and not how nice they look, because mine look scrappy.
  8. I just mounted up a brand new Iconn wide ride for Ron Phelps to try this summer. It is good to see some of the old skis around.
  9. Eric, You better start posting a lot of useful information. Kevin
  10. At least Jumpers make a big Ball of Spray when they miss! :) Maybe a Three Event Section?
  11. Eric, Should have my new Quantum next weekend, when are you coming up to ski? Hopefully the doctor will clear me to start skiing this week. Or maybe it is just Steph that won't let me re-injure my shoulder? Like the idea about Jump and Trick sections! Kevin
  12. Richard, Nice looking boat. Liked the Red version better from pictures, but saw Greg's boat in person and now really like the White. The new 6.0 Ilmore motor is really smooth and powerful. Drove it for jump.
  13. My wife skied her A2 for the first time last weekend at 30 mph. She liked the ski over all and said it turned really well. She said it was hard to really tell, as it was her first set of the season. I did a few fin tweaks this week, so we will see how she likes it this weekend.
  14. I can't believe all this great exciting news today! I'm sure all of it is true! That is why I check out BOS, all the great reporting!
  15. Richard, never said it wasn't a legal trick ski, just trying to get you to mount the bindings forward, since you are giving up wakeboarding? I think it is great anytime anyone gets out and tricks and jumps.
  16. Richard, Does that mean you are going to actually ride a trick ski? :) Â I'm not giving up any of my bad habits, I'm sure the list is to long. Â Kevin
  17. Take a look at the Fluid Motion boots. www.jagersports.com  They have a bunch of different options and different release types. I switch to their boot for my trick ski and was very impressed with the quality and performance over my Reflex boot.  There are a lot of options out there, check them all out.  Kevin
  18. On, short line skiing, let us know how the side spray is. Heard in early testing that it was an issue, but they did some changes to improve that feature.
  19. Clemsondave: Please give comments on wake (all line lengths if possible). If the wife (30 - 34 mph) won't like it, no way I will be able to get one. And if anyone tricks behind it would like to know how the wake is for that. Pictures would be nice too. Thanks, Kevin
  20. Jump skis on the wings, extra lift on the plane. http://www.ballofspray.com/vanillaforum/js/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-smile.gif
  21. Paul Crawford is setting up the promo's in California, not sure on other area's, think he is the national coordinator. I had a great talk with him about a month ago to try and get one lined up tournaments I'm the chief driver at. Hopefully I will get to ski one in April, when he gets his boat.  Kevin
  22. I think all the boats have a great wake. But all I know is that my wife who skis at 15 off 30 mph - 34 mph likes the 200 wake the best for slalom. So much that I can get a MC for about $7k less than a 200 and she wants the 200. I look at all the wake's from the side and they all look about the same size, but all that really matters is when you go through them and how they feel to you. I actually think the 200 wake looks a little bigger than the MC, but is sure feels like there is nothing there going through it. We are most likely going to get a test ski behind the Centurion in the spring and one women who skied behind it told me that it was really nice at the slower speeds. But won't know for sure until we get behind it. Kevin
  23. Great tournament and I met a lot of great people. Great to see Eric run the 32 behind the Pink/Black Barbie Malibu. I told him he needs a Barbie Malibu for Slalom and his red MC for Tricks. Erica ran a really nice 35, I got to see it from the judges tower, so a great view.  Thanks,  Kevin
