I have been skiing with SG for the last few years. I had access to a ZO boat at Stan's lake, but the lake skis so different than most, I would find a setting that I liked there and then go to a different lake and hate the setting. I understand the boat to boat and lake to lake, than setting to setting difference. I would have to agree with Seth, one setting would make it a lot easier, that is what we had with PP Classic and SG. Also it would alleviate some of the confusion on the dock with skiers that don't use it all the time. They spend more time asking what they should go with than what they should be doing from a skiing stand point. I had been skiing with B2 just because it seemed to be similar from boat to boat. I did switch to C1 the end of last year based on talking to Mateo, Dirt and Scott P. and it felt better.
This year I decided to make the ZO jump and got a new boat. Hopefully it will help find a setting. Also ZO is a lot better than SG/Classic in trick mode.
