  1. There are lots of studies out there regarding wake boat damage, and it usually includes "normal" boat traffic as a comparison. That would be a good place to start.
  2. Is that because nobody bought a Prostar from your dealer, or they tried and couldn’t even get a build allocation?
  3. We’ll get out a few more times in NW Illinois, but it’s basically over. Last year was a bonus as we made it out 3 times in December with the last being December 27.
  4. That’s great feedback…thanks!
  5. 2006 and up Malibu is DBW and PerfectPass supports that. I can’t speak for other brands.
  6. Has anyone tried this fuel sending unit? Seems like a great solution for my 2006 RLXi with the dreaded "reading empty with 15 gallons of fuel left" issue. I like the adjustability of the sending unit. Instructions say it won't work with ohm only input gauges, but I'm not exactly sure what that means. It's supposedly a universal replacement for any 33-240 ohm sending units. Holley Easy Level Fuel Sender
  7. Not that it really matters, but I highly doubt this boat was brought back by Sanger to try to get a slalom skier to buy a new boat. It was for the footin' crowd, and I wouldn't doubt if they had pre-orders/deposits on a set number of boats before they decided to do it. Nothing to back that up, just a guess.
  8. @mlangeWe ski all the time in rec mode because of the current on the river. Supposedly, you select your ABC setting, then go into rec mode and it'll retain that setting until it's switched again. No noticeable difference in pull I can tell. The newer, integrated ZO screen on the Malibus we ski offer "training mode" instead of rec mode, and speeds are adjustable in 0.1 mph increments and ABC settings can be changed like normal.
  9. I agree it was not the course, and likely slamming into reverse. But with individual anchors the rest of the course isn’t going to move anyway.
  10. My son has been trying to get his team registered for quite some time. Never has been able to do it. AWSA hasn’t responded to his emails either. He’s at a tournament this weekend, so hopefully they don’t line up and get told it’s a no go because they aren’t registered. I’m sure that won’t be the case, but I could see something like that happening.
  11. It looked to me like there was possibly an issue with the weeds from moving the jump causing a delay.

    PP Display

I found a new 3.5" PP display for the 6.5ng software on Ebay...not sure if you are adding to a digital pro system or not. If it's already a StarGazer system, PP does sell those new in 3.5"
  13. Those are really cool boats. But imagine how cool they’d be with an actual windshield.
  14. Do you happen to have a lawn tractor? Front hitches on those move our size of boats very well. Not a good pic…that’s a John Deere X748, but I’ve moved the boat with much less tractor over the years.
  15. I’m waiting for one of those washed up 69” 2023 Senates to hit the market. 😜
  16. @elr yep, that’s exactly it. I had to submit another B for no credit in order for the WBB to be eligible on the app. Thanks!
  17. Both are very helpful, but the app itself won’t allow me to select WBB, so I wasn’t sure if it was an app issue or if there was a trick I had to do first before that would score.
  18. That app is pretty cool!!!! However, I can’t get it to allow my WBB into the run. Do I need to do something prior to a WBB before that trick can be scored?
  19. I did figure this out. One current adapter line attaches to gates and then 1,3,5 and another for 2,4,6. I’m missing 99’ of the line and the clip from 4-6.
  20. I was given a free Insta slalom course with a current adapter. I have installed a portable slalom course in the past, so I don’t have any issue with the mainline and associated parts. I don’t know how the current adapter works and I can’t seem to find anything online. Does anyone have experience with that set up? It’s a separate line and it clips to the pvc just before the turn buoy, but I don’t know how it attaches back to the mainline or where. I could have pieces missing, too.
  21. @ALPJr I have that vest, as well as my son. I really like it for slalom. However, I trick ski a lot and the stupid flotation panels get all turned around and twisted when I fall...which is a bunch. It's very frustrating and have stopped using it for the most part. My son is now tricking, and when he got in the boat last night we had a good laugh as 6-7 of his flotation panels were all jacked up from his numerous falls.

    Mirror

Years ago I got lucky and found a used, aluminum PTM VR-140 mirror. Knowing what I know now, I'd buy a new one in a heartbeat. It's a completely different experience (for the better) than with my old CIPA Comp mirror.
