    Someone please buy Horton's boat :smile: In all seriousness why can't they build a decent trick boat anymore? All the big 3 used to be able to do it.

    @DefectiveDave‌ if you want someone to come dive for it and can wait a few weeks i could probably make a trip your direction, but I would recomend trying to drag for the anchor lines first. And most recovery divers are in your price range

    Like others have said I always dock the boat or anchor it near a ramp and then replace them. If you do all te prep work before hand it doesn't take much more than an hour even if you are the slow and methodical type.

    @Horton‌ ok so what about a water tunnel test on fin's? I know it doesn't work ok skis, but would that let us visualize the movement of the fin as force is exerted on it by the water?

    @Horton‌ as much as the ski? Half that? Less than a wakeboard fin? How much flex did your 34mph carbon fin have that everyone loved so much? Would it have degraded over the life of the fin or could I flex test the 3 I have and get a solid starting point?

    @Horton‌ I understand the fluid dynamics I'm asking how much should a normal fin flex and is there any experimental way to eliminate that variable.

    I would say that if we are talking about the current crop of 36mph skiers it's Nate by himself, with Asher and Parish in a battle for second. I would argue that there are some older guys who would beat them all if they were still at that stage of life.

    @Horton‌ so is there any way to test this idea so that one could theoretically tell if it's the fin flexing? How would you as one who has made fins before suggest trying to isolate the variables. @gator1‌ this is an interesting idea.
