  1. This thread has gone completely off the rails - but it is Friday I guess.
  2. Going through chemotherapy I am learning that my energy is quite diminished. My drive to ski and ability to ski are significantly impacted. It's weird trying to start the season sking jus a couple times a week for one or two sets of 6. It will be interesting to see if I can manage to get back to where I was last season under these constraints.
  3. According to my sources there was a data usage issue, so no webcast today.
  4. Jodi Fisher is great for a very wide range of skills, from course big inner through short line.
  5. Generally I'll drink whatever someone provides me!

  7. @ms. I'm the most interesting man in the world.
  8. @skiep - wish I could make it this weekend! Will see you in the fall for sure!
  9. My thoughts and prayers to Ty. I am 4 months into my brain cancer journey. It's not for wimps, and having the support of family and friends is crucial. Let me know if there is anything I can do.
  10. I change ropes and handles every season. Not everyone agrees, but I think it is easier on the body to ski on ropes that aren't worn out.
  11. @AlpJr - that's the O'Neill Fluid. I bought one for myself and one for my wife. Very nice suit. However, I wear a large in the O'Neill hybrid, and bought a large in the Fluid. It is pretty snug. If you order one, I'd suggest going up a size.
  12. @UWSkier - my most recent one I was in a small meeting at work. Felt something and the guy next to me says 'your eye just blew up'. I've also had them happen in my sleep on numerous occasions.
  13. O'Neil hybrid is still available, as is the new "Fluid" suit from O'Neil (all neoprene).
  14. @oldjeep - what I've heard from folks is no one wants to put 10 hours on their boat (for one day) or 20 for two days to pull a tournament. Personally, I bought my boat to be used, and I'm not really that concerned about hours (and I don't live on a private site). For a friend in need, I would probably be willing to let them use my boat for a one day event once per year. However, it's a hassle to bring the boat someplace and back (first there, last to leave), and sometimes boats get scratches and dings in them at tournaments (which I care about more than the hour meter). So - as someone who owns a 2015 ProStar, in the right circumstances, maybe. For most people, I think its the hours.
  15. I get one of those about once a month year round for no reason at all.
  16. Can someone recap men's and women's slalom finals and BD slalom finals for me? Webcast troubles here.
  17. I had trouble staying connected to the webcast no matter what device I used. Is that my crap internet provider or did other people have that problem. Oh, I did get to see Rodgers run 39 with about 10 mistakes in it. What a stud.
