  1. @Cent thanks for the input. Nice to hear from someone on a 65 at a similar size as me. What speed/line length are you skiing? Bindings and wing also in stock position?
  2. @BCM sounds like great skiing! Thanks for the info!
  3. Looking forward to one of these hitting the used market in 30 years! Best looking new boat since the Carbon Pro I think!
  4. @Andre don't get me wrong, the vapor was a great ski! It got me from a 15 off, 34mph skier to a 32off 36mph skier in 2 seasons but I was always fighting it bouncing on my offside. Tried all of the fin and binding adjustments suggested here and elsewhere. Some made it better, some worse. Fixed my positioning on the ski and still felt uncomfortable. Hard to ski on something when you can't trust it! It is my first D3/KD/Kidder product. All of the reviews made it sound more stable and deeper riding which was intriguing. @TEL thanks for the help! The 65 is a smaller size than I felt like many people here would be skiing on so thanks for phrasing it relative to stock settings. From what I have managed to find for info, the stock settings seem to be pretty close. That was a thing with the Radar was that the settings people were using varied so greatly. Maybe it was just due to the vast number of people on the ski but still, hard to find a good starting point on that ski.
  5. I just ordered a 65" D3 NRG off of the D3 page. 350 USD! What a great deal! Anyway, I'm a lightweight, about 140-145lbs and skiing into 32 off at 36mph. I'm coming off of a 2016 66" vapor. I wanted to try something a little different so I figured this would be a good chance. My question is, where did most people end up with their fin numbers/binding position in relation to stock? I'm up in Canada where our season is short so I want to waste as little time as possible on the changeover/setup phase!
  6. @Spuddy where are you located?
  7. Selling my 2016 66" Radar Lithium Vapor. In great shape with just a couple marks as shown in the pictures. Sold blank with fin. 450 USD shipping included in the USA or 550 Canadian shipped in Canada.
  8. I have a 66" 2016 vapor for sale in great shape. Not willing to let it go for quite that deal but I can do 450 shipped in the states (or 525 Canadian shipped in Canada) Message me for pictures
  9. @DavidN I'm curious to hear you story between the GT and GTR. Feel free to message me as to not divert this thread.
  10. @DavidN you've got better eyes than I do. I looked there but didn't see any. Edit: It appears to be the wrong size that's listed on SIA On another note, bonus points if you're in Canada!
  11. Not sure if people are still using them or not. Maybe it was a flash in the pan but if someone has gone back to their stock fin (or another fin), I'd be interested in getting a used whisper fin for Radar fin block. Also would consider cg fin. Just looking to try something new.
  12. Anyone have a whisper fun for sale? Radar fin block.
  13. I'm on public water. Where we ski though is very protected and most people don't venture in that far because everyone thinks it is too shallow
  14. As was the consensus from my original post in the thread that is linked above, it all comes down to your personal preference and opinion based on your own setup. My wife drove me with our newborn in the infant carrier, strapped to her chest. We now have a second baby and will be doing the same thing and I fashioned a seatbelt into the observers seat to keep my almost 2 year old from trying to run around the boat and show off his dance moves mid set. He wears a life jacket and the belt isn't tightened way down so IF anything happened he'd likely come out. My wife an I also have an understanding that if she feels like they are not doing well with the arrangement at any point, she points me out at the end of the course, I get in and we go home.
  15. I'm about an hour and a half south of Fredericton and have a course here, unfortunately we just took it out for the season. We also have a family cottage about half an hour west of Fredericton. We have another course there too but it has been out since the beginning of the month. If you're ever in the area through the summer, message me, we'll get you out!
  16. I wish I could recover like he does at 2 ball... Or any ball for that matter
  17. Build your own. It's cheap and works pretty well. I did basically what they have pictured here and, for the price, have no complaints. I put a phone mount on mine so that its not as far away as the gopros /forum#/discussion/10854/camera-mount-on-the-cheap
  18. Looks like I should have tried this approach. Wouldn't mind making the switch myself!
  19. Mine has been locking much faster in the last week or so as well. Must be a Garmin update of some sort?
  20. Most PP systems only have the one edition unless both were purchased. @dtm8119 I did the exact same thing earlier this year. I also switched the displays but only because my old one was way newer than the one in the "new" boat. Everything works great.
  21. Try calling them at perfect pass. Can't hurt to call. If you're in Canada I bet they give you a better price than what's posted.
  22. I went from rubber to the radar strada boot (now the vapor). I love those boots. May give you a bit of a happy medium between rubber and full on hardshell. They have a removable, moldable liner and seem to release very well as long as you use them properly and don't over tighten the top laces.
  23. I'm guessing minimal changes from 2019 but my wife tells me I've been wrong before.
