  1. I was impressed by @FWinter. His 135 didn’t look great and he still ran a tough 39. Then comes out and again, not a good 1 ball and gets outside of 3 for the win. If he can clean up that offside he’ll be taking down 41 this year.
  2. A small back compartment would have been nice for soap. I don’t use soap but others I ski with do.
  3. Better. More room. And I never put anything in there anyway. Everything molds in there anyway.
  4. If I remember correctly. If in doubt buy the thinner fin. It will fit in all fin slots. Fin block should center the fin.
  5. I’ve heard the same thing comparing the 6.0 in both new Nautiques. Which begs the question, does weight really matter. If the Ski Nautique weighs less than the 200 it sure pushes more water. All I know is my new 200 is the best boat I’ve owned to date and it is an absolute rocket and tracks on rails. And same world class wake of the past 200s.
  6. Put my new 2019 nautique 200 in the water yesterday. All I can say is, if the boat is heavier, it doesn’t translate to the wake. My ski partner skied and he has a 2014 200 and said it felt just as good if not better. I drove because of some back issues but it tracked better than his 2014. Feels so solid. It’s super quiet and unbelievably strong. It made my 6.0 in my previous Malibu feel like a 4 banger. So happy with my purchase. Oh and the user interface of the Linc screen is so easy and intuitive.
  7. New NRG is up on the d3skis website.
  8. My new nautique 200 is in the garage now. Goes in the water Monday. This thing is incredible. Same price as a new MasterCraft pro star with comparable options. I’ll post more once it’s in the water.
  9. @epnault I’m a big guy skiing at 34 into 32 off. The 68 EVO is plenty big for me and is incredibly fast. Throw a whisper fin on it and it’s lightning fast. You should give one a try.
  10. 10k difference in 6.2 and 6.0. So now we are 30k apart.
  11. What about bugs with the touchless?
  12. That’s odd for the ARC. Most people hated the on side but loved the offside. EVO fixed the on side for me. To each their own.
  13. For me. The best handle would be the masterline ergo anti roll handle if it came in larger diameter. I really like 1.06-1.09ish but it only comes in 1 inch and it’s not kind on my hands.
  14. Sorry. Standard d3wing that came with the EVO. Stock 7 degrees.
  15. @Ed_Johnson 7 degrees. I can give you specific numbers for 68 EVO if you want when you get it.
  16. Thanks @Ed_Johnson I totally agree with your description. I don’t pretend to know anything about how these fins work. I just go off of feel. And you will be happier with the WhisperFin. Even faster than the CG at 5 degrees but you can leave your wing at stock angle on the whisper. And much more forgiving in the turns!
  17. @Ed_Johnson I think it will be a great edition to any ski but for those deep riding skis like the NRG, I think it will make those come alive with new speed and less radical turns. I can even see those die hard Nano one guys benefiting greatly from it. More speed on a ski that’s known for having to work to get across course.
  18. @FLeboeuf I waited til after today’s set on the fin to answer your question. After final tuning by @SkiJay, the ski feels phenomenal. Let me start by saying the ski felt great after the first set and was completely skiable but jay wanted to dial it in Perfectly for me. My first comment regarding the whisper fin compared to the CG would be drag. In the glide it’s noticeable that the CG fin has a ton of drag. Not so with the whisper fin. Little effort is required to get wide and its easy to not load the boat and zero off working against you. Same with acceleration. This thing is incredibly fast. In the turns, I feel like the tail has the perfect amount of smear and nothing radical happens at the finish. Tip stays down through the entire turn just like CG but creates a smoother turn and doesn’t hook up hard at the finish. CG tracks like no other but I feel like it’s too much for me. Whisper continues to get wide and keep speed going outbound with no effort. Finally. You’d think that it wouldn’t have the hold being that it’s a lot smaller than the traditional fin but trust me, it’s very stable and I never even came close to blowing the tail
  19. Just skied with @SkiJay What a nice guy! Tried the whisper fin on my EVO. So fast! And plenty of holding power. Thanks for setting it up for me!! Can’t wait for spring. This fin has big potential. I’m rusty and this was the first set since September but I could immediately feel an improvement over the stock fin as well as the CG fin. Super fast with smooth tip down turns. Now I just need to work on me.
  20. Use your own wing and set it the same as your factory wing.
  21. 79k is no radio no cover no mimini no trailer no front or rear seats etc. MSRP with those options is 90ish. Again like @horton says, you can’t go off of MSRP.
