  1. No one uses the slot except Goode. I’ve gone away from it because the conversion is so variable.
  2. I’m just telling you what the nautique guy told me. The hydro gate is automated now. But it came from same mold. If they made a new mold they would have totally redesigned it I’m sure.
  3. Absolutely no change from rubrail down. Exact same running surface. Straight from a one of Nautique’s main guys. Same feel behind the boat and behind the drivers seat.
  4. Go to Nautique.com. The new 200 has dropped! And it looks sweet.
  5. Would you purchase a new 200 if you knew that the 200 will not be used in tournaments and only the new nautique would be in tournaments?
  6. If you could get a new 200 with most things you need. It would have new screen Zero off and a 6.0L. Would you buy one with fifty hours on it for 65k Just curious what people are thinking they’d pay for the new one.
  7. Rock climbing, ice climbing and backcountry skiing.
  8. Someone at the testing should take pics and post them. Curious to see what changes they made.
  9. Even nautique put out bad 200 hulls. I can think of two that I’ve skied that everyone complained about one side of the wake no matter how much you moved people around in it so it must be important.
  10. I’m really liking the fin. I’m .010 forward and .020 shorter than my previous fin. It feels good in the course but it does feel really stuck on the pullout for the gate. I’m having a hard time getting free in the glide. Is there anything I can do to free it up so that I can accelerate more easily on the pullout. I’ve been at .020 forward but it was too much on the on side. @AdamCord @adamhcaldwell
  11. The only way it seems like it would work is if they didn’t use them as promo boats and they were considerably cheaper than Mastercraft and Malibu. On par with carbon pro pricing.
  12. This sounds great and all but it seems like CC will be shooting itself in the foot on the new boat. Unless it won’t be tournament approved. I still like skiing and driving the 200 over the new one and I’m sure if given the option the promo guys would choose the 200.
  13. I wonder if they will make different handle diameters in the Ergo.
  14. I’m sure the boat companies have researched this to no end but while watching F1 this morning I was thinking about aerodynamics and my thoughts went to hydrodynamics and boats. It seems that all the research and tuning is in the hull running surface and the skegs and rudders have always been the same. It seems that handling on boats could be improved with a new design of skegs and rudders without affecting wake size. I know nothing about this, I just thought it was interesting.
  15. Has anyone tried a ventral wing in stead of regular wing on the CG fin. I just found one in the drawer.
  16. Stock is best but move boots back until it comes alive.
  17. Unfortunately I am selling the Aide vest that I ordered. It’s too small for me. The quality looks so good. Cut is very close to eagle but seems to be better construction. It’s brand new and has never seen the water. Tags are still on it. Too expensive to mail back so my loss is your gain. It is a large but I’d say it’s between a Medium and a Large in eagle sizing. I paid 160 plus 35 shipping. I’d take 150$. Thanks Matt
  18. Solar flares. Remap on a different day.
  19. I really liked the boarding school. But if you want something close to the parks and other activities. Don’t forget about Thomas Degasperi ski school. Really laid back. Very good coach. I got a lot out of my few sets that I took there. 5-10 minutes from Disney. It is an 8 ball course but it was easy to get used to.
  20. Oh my goodness! I wasn’t sold in the fin until @AdamCord chimed in. He said that the ski didn’t feel like it was free yet. I moved .020 forward and .020 less length and bingo. Ski felt amazing. Thanks
  21. So I tried the CG fin on my EVO for several sets. 7 degrees was awful. 5 was the ticket. Same fin numbers that were on the original set up. It’s definitely interesting. Faster cross course but shuts down very fast too. I feel like this fin took away from the greatest attributes of the EVO. With the CG fin the ski turned really hard and had great angle. Almost too much but held that angle really well. What I like about the original fin is that it would turn a little slower but build angle late. Maybe for a shoreline skier this would be beneficial but at 22,28 and 32 it was too much.
  22. I loved the stokes vests too but the arm holes on both models are too small. I wear it when I’m in a suit or heater top, otherwise it’s uncomfortable.
  23. I’ve tried them all and I like Eagle the best so far. I did just order an Aide vest and some Aide board shorts. I hope I get them. Excited to try it. Freddie, Manon and Sasha all wear Aide. I think it’s Korean.
