  1. For what its worth was told that the Intuition liner was a great alternative. Has been great.
  2. @ skialex and Deanoski I just purchased the black boot and am enjoying it but its taken some time. Can you fellas clarify the 'cutting the top off' situation. Do you mean cutting the top rear plastic 'loop' part off?
  3. just bought the black one. Most dealers suggest if you are 200 lbs ish, the black will be better.
  4. Intution liner on Reflex and Strada rear. Regular buckles Just had my first release around 3 ball and the good is that both feet released perfectly-bad news, shin got smashed and bled for the rest of the day. Guess I need a plastic rear shin guard? What are people using for that problem? Heard guys say they get used to the release but I dont understand how that would solve the problem
  5. I just bought a Reflex front and a 2012 Strada rear. Came of EXO's. Starting to get used to the new setup. I have the rear boot as close as it goes to the release mechanism. Its definitley jammed up against it. Doesnt seem to effect the release characateristics. Thought about cutting the strada but not too sure about doing that. We ski in cold water so its nice to have a closed rear boot. @schafer I'm also in Canada. BC. Good luck finding one in Canada to look at. I evenutally bought at Miami Ski Nautique-they are great. Also, Steve at Pacific Slalom is great.
  6. Thanks guys I 've got some ski screws that fit, flat bottom, rounded top. Do you fellas think I also need washers>
  7. Just bought a reflex set up with a carbon plate. They forgot to supply screws. I have an HO A3 and am wondering if I can use the EXO binding screws? Do I need some type of washer between the screw and the plate? No sure how fragile the plate is if I just use screws Thanks
  8. Thinking seriously about reflex - does anyone have any info about the different flexes that Reflex supposedly has? I've been told from a dealer they have tow or three different flexes
  9. Thanks very much. Are you @MarkM using the Reflex or the Intution Goode style liners Thanks
  10. Thanks @buski I have a normal not wide 13 foot. I would be using the goode/intuition type liners that I think are pretty thin. Hope it works
  11. Just wondering if anyone out there has a a size 12 relex slalom boot(the black one) and has been able to fit a size 13 foot inside? I know CP has been using one and I would imagine he has fairly big feet. Reflex doesn't make a size 13. Thanks
  12. Thanks guys. appreciate your feedback.
  13. @skimech How have the FM boots been for you? Thinking about changing my boot set up. How has FM been taking care of your questions set up etc?
  14. @ntx Thanks so much for your info and sorry to hear about your kid. Brutal. Just starting to wear out the EXO's and thinking about a change. Thinking about Fluid Motion as well but not sure I want to go there.
  15. I'm just wondering how the Apex boots are treating people? Quality, Release? Performance? I'm thinking about dropping the EXO's and trying something else
  16. Hey Horton I remember you using the Apex for awhile, how did they compare with the Strada boot? THanks
  17. Thanks very much fellas for your comments. It seems like HO is phasing out the EXO's so I'm wondering if I should go a different way with hardshells or maybe Stradas. Hard to know which way to go Fluid Motion?
  18. Just curious if anyone has any experience in how they compare in terms of comfort, performance, releasability etc. Thinking about changing over from my EXO's Thanks very much
