  1. Anyone have any comments comparing the V-Type to an A3? Thanks
  2. I don't understand the comments re tracking. Our '98 tracks as good if not better than any of the malibus and way better than the early 90's prostars.
  3. Hey @curly71 I have a 98 Boomerang. Has been an amazing boat for 10 years. A little weight sensitive - two spotters not a good idea. With no spotter you need a little weight on the observers side for counter balance. THose are the negatives. Other than that, with a 1/4 tank of gas and a small spotter it will be hard to find a better slalom wake. I've skiid Malibus, Nautique 200's, 2015 Prostars and the wake is just as good if not better. And all of my friends agree. We all think about buying a new Prostar or Nautique and then after a set ask why?
  4. hey @horton please may sure you put some kind of shin protection on your rear leg. The heel block can come up quick and gash your shin - really bad on a release
  5. @CaleBurdick. Thanks very much for your response. I watched the review-appreciate it. I'm just a 28-32 off skier and the A3 has been great. But always looking for an edge. Thanks again
  6. It would be awesome if someone could compare it with a 2014 A3 please Cheers
  7. We have about 5 out of eight skiers in our group all wearing helmets. Its awesome. Prevents ear and head impact issues and also prevents head going through handle
  8. Hey @goodskier Where about are you? We ski in the south Okanagan and usually travel to ski pond 5-6hrs for some sets. We would love to pay and ski somewhere closer. Do you belong to a club that would give us pulls - more than willing to pay THanks
  9. This is getting hilarious - if you guys only knew - We've been run off of Duck Lake more than once trying to get a set it etc. Doesn't take long for a boat to show up telling us to get off 'their lake' etc. Interesting for a public lake.
  10. Hey @pgmoore. Where are you coming from? There are a couple courses around Kelowna. Not much course skiing on the big lake. Good luck on Duck lake - a public lake that the 'ski club' doesn't allow people to ski on
  11. I've been using Reflex front and Strada rear with great results. No issues with release even though I do have the Strada toe jammed up to the front release mechanism. Only issue is that you can't put your rear tow right up against the front boot.
  12. Good for you for getting out @mrpreuss! We also skied today in BC. Water 42 and air 4 Celcius, not sure what that is in F. I wear a neoprene beanie and a helme t and its all good. Hands get cold though.
  13. Thanks @Colebrah . REally appreciate it. Just curious- how far a drive is Bakersfield from Palm Springs?
  14. Thanks very much fella's (eleeski and colebrah). Appreciate your input very much. We up here in Canada ski 10-11 months of the year - getting a little cold now 35-40 air and 50 water. May not ski as much during winter months. Doing a short family vacation in mid December so I just thought it might work out. Thanks again for your time in responding. Cheers.
  15. Just wondering is there is anyone that would offer me a pull Dec 20-23 in Palm Springs area - more than willing to pay for some sets. Thanks!
  16. What tranny oil would any of you recommend?
  17. @smalor. Sorry for the slow reply. Thanks. Would love to get in touch with you guys and ski down there and would love to ski you up here in Penticton as well.
  18. Hey smalor, we have several skiers just north of you who are extremely committed skiers. Would love to come down to ski a course with you. Especially if the water is consistent and not too busy. We actually made a couple trips to spectacle lake trying to find good water. BLown out both times.
  19. I'm also going to be in Palm Springs in December and would love to purchase a few sets from anyone in that area who would offer.
  20. I was on the S2 for a couple years and on EXO. I was in a similar situation as far as needing new bindings. Thought about Stradas and pondered REflex. Went Reflex eventually. Awesome. Wouldnt waste your time thinking about Apex. Haven't heard one good thing about them
  21. Go Reflex. Just got front Reflex. Awesome quality and great customer support.
  22. agree 100% Looks like a modified version of Apex which didn't seem very popular
  23. @Chuck_Dickey‌ I have a Reflex front and Strada rear and have the Strada jammed up as much as possible. Still about an inch seperation. Have had a couple full releases with no problem
  24. I have a strada as my rear and is jammed up way more with no problem you need to unlock it and then it will easily fit over
