  1. Thanks very much @Rivvy Appreciate your thoughts - always hard to decide up here in Canada where it's basically impossible to try a few skis Thanks again
  2. @Dacon62 Thanks very much for your info - really appreciate it.
  3. Hey guys. Maybe time for a new ski. Anyone out there previously on a 2019 Senate Pro change to a 2022 Senate Pro or Vapor? 34mph 28-32 off skier. Thanks
  4. Six Foot 2 - 210 pounds skiing at 34mph - 28-32 off . On a 67 Senate Pro. 2019. Thanks
  5. Interesting discussion - thanks to all of you guys. I have a 2019 Senate pro and am also wondering about the NRG R2 for an upgrade. Also wondering if anyone has gone from a Senate Pro to a Denali C85 and how they would compare. Thanks
  6. Like @503Kento I'm also on a 2019 Senate. A probuild though. 28off - 32 off 34 mph. Very curious how the 2022 Senate compares to the 2019 with the totally new shape.
  7. Yes @ral is right. The damage to the rear shin comes from the plastic block attached to the rear of the front boot. After just about needing stitches, I also wear a shin guard.
  8. Does anyone know anything regarding the 2022 Senate and shape? Usually the Senate gets a change a year later.
  9. @Edmund I had a Jobe and now have a Liquid Force. Its awesome. I believe there is another liquid force and one fella uses a snow ski helmet. Just a note, if you have hit the water at 55mph cutting across the wake the water is a hard object - feels like concrete.
  10. Just some thoughts THere are 6 skiers in our group and all but one wear helmets. If you buy a watersports helmet there is nothing for the water to 'grab'. Gives much more impact protection when hitting the water hard. Also solves eardrum and head through handle issues.
  11. @parkerc2112 thanks very much for your comments I love the ski but more angle out of the turns interests me
  12. @parkerc2112 How different did the Senate pro perform with those settings? I have just had the stock numbers on the ski Curious. THanks
  13. @TFIN Also on a 67 Senate PRO - 210 lbs 28-32 off skier. How do the numbers you posted change the Senate's feel? just curious. THanks
  14. Cool - would love to talk - been skiing pretty seriously for 15-20 years in the Okanagan. Would love to talk waterskiing issues etc
  15. @IGski I may have a 68" 2018 GT for sale
  16. Well I tried the shallow long settings from Connelly. Ski blew out on my onside a couple times. Never had that with my Vapor. Went to stock and kept flopping around onside 2 ball over and over. Buddy says ski is rally coming up at hte end of the turn. Will try Steths numbers tomorrow
  17. @Sethski Thanks very much for your time Seth. Just had one set on a 68" so far(at factory settings). Really pre turn carved hard and slowed down quite a bit into the turn, maybe too much compared to my '17 Vapor. Might try the shallow long settings? similar to my Vapor? Or I'll try the ones you posted above. Are those for a 68"? THanks again
  18. @skiep Just had two sets on a 68" GT coming off a '17 Vapor Super glued to the water - interesting feeling. Really slow in the turn which is good but maybe a little too slow. Stock settings. Any advice with the two advanced settings connelly suggests?
  19. @Justin_C I'm also getting a gt to try - coming off a '17 Vapor 68". Any tips on fin settings for a 28-32 off skier? 34mph
  20. @chris rossi Thanks for your comments. Really appreciate your input. On a 17 Vapor at 34 mph and still wondering how the Senate would be. I guess someone like me at 28 and 32 off and sometimes 35- would the extra width help. Be more foregiving? How would that work? THanks
  21. I have a similar question as @brettmag. On a 17 vapor and curious to see if ant 28-32 off skiers on a 17 vapor have tried the senate pro.
  22. @brooks I'm a 28-32 off skier 34 mph. Sometimes deep 35. On a 2017 lithium vapor. Enjoying the ski. How would the Senate pro differ? Any thoughts would be appreciated My main issue is consistancy.
