  1. @crashman‌ be careful what you post on the internet. Only 45 minutes from my house and sure beats the public water. I might just take you up on that. Congratulations on the new site!
  2. No not the one you ran over. With the discussion of twist skis, binding and fin adjustments for onside and offside, and things like rocker blocks, ventrals, and SFE it all got me thinking: has anyone every tried an asymmetric wing? You could easily mount a larger wing on one side and a smaller wing on the opposite side. Another concept would be to use The same size but different angles. Set one side to 6 degrees and the other to 8. Could this be used to balance onside and offside turns? What would happen when traveling cross course? Just an idea I can't test for a few more months. Any thoughts?
  3. @Ed doesn't Z-box have plus settings now also? Has anyone tried them?
  4. Digital pro is based off your baseline rpm setting and doesn't know actual speed. Easiest way to adjust to "odd" speeds is to adjust skier weight and or wind up or down. Setting would still be 32mph but by increasing skier weight way up can result in 33mph. You can also run 33 mph in trick mode off paddle wheel but pull will be very different.
  5. Following up on @Jordan's question, What is the best way to practice: What are your techniques to identify, correct, and incorporate improvements in your practice skiing? I only get 4-6 sets per week, so I want to make the most of each of those sets. Do you use previous sets/video to identify individual areas to work on, then focus your next set on a single issue, possibly using a longer line/slower speed; or do you try to always work on integrating minor changes into a complete pass/set and work down the rope?
  6. It is great to see cale skiing at that level again. Happy to see him in the finals.
  7. @Horton and @ Texas6 thanks for the input. I will switch and give it a try.
  8. @Horton. Is what you wrote above correct? Put the insole between the shell and the liner? The boot was designed to have The liner directly in the shell with nothing under it correct? And the thin strada insole goes in the liner? So how would replacing The insole with a slightly thicker one impact the release?
  9. Been on mine for 2 years and still love it. No issues.
  10. @ab. Did you put The super feet in the liner or under it. I put mine in the liner and I don't think it impacts how the liner goes in or how they release. I have had mine for 2 seasons. I have had a couple of baf falls but always released both feet.
  11. @DW probably have this boat for another few years until the family and budget are ready to upgrade. Part of my issue is The weight. I have the Pres. Edition with The 454 big block. Great HP and EFI but adds weight to the boat. Not sure if replacing parts would be enough to be worth it. If I try the hook do I put it on the center section, outside 2 sections, or all three?
  12. @DW thanks for the hook tips. I like the idea of being able to test with the shrink wrap tape and not be permanent. That wasn't me on SIA. Never had a Goode.
  13. @DW can you explain how you would go about adding additional hook to the boat? I have an older Malibu echelon with a pretty hard wake at 15 and 22 off. Gets better at 28 and nothing at 32. Boat drives and tracks great but really hard wake at the longer lines.
  14. @boarditup where do you ski now? I have skied on mirage three times this year at the INT tournaments. Loved the site. I ski on The salamonie reservoir but just pulled our course for The year. They are dropping the level.
  15. I am running a slot fin on the S2. I ski at 36 mph but got the S2 because I felt it fit my style a little better. I liked it with the stock fin but felt I couldn't get The tail to come around like I wanted on my on side. Switched this year to the slot. I really like it and am very comfortable on it. My settings are different from his recommendations but they work for me.
  16. I bought a complete kit from performance ski and surf that has the all the bungees bottom laces and ties for 2 boots.
  17. Its not an issue of lawsuits or judges doing something wrong. It is an issue of being fan friendly. Based on the announcers and the webcast it appeared that Nate won. I didn't know it was even being reviewed. We either need to change The rules (see other threads) change how the judges make their rulings or change how we provide fans with the information to understand what is happening.
  18. Master's website lists Nate at 2nd with 0 at 41. Must have cut his gate.
  19. What speed is she supposedly skiing 38 and 39 off? PP or ZO?
  20. You should only need XL. Depending on the brand shoe I wear a 13 or 14. I have comfortably used XL HO and Radar boots. Unfortunately I don't have any extra to sell.
  21. The issue with a change now is the records that have been set at 43. If you add an intermediate line length it would require skiers to ski 6 extra buoys to get a shot at the WR. Unless the records are based on buoy count only and not line length but that would discount current records.
  22. I have a 70" HO CDX1 that is in great condition. It is a 2002 but hasn't been used since 2007. I am sure I would be willing to sell that but I have to check to see what bindings are on it. Pm me if interested and I can dig it out.
  23. In my experience a lot of the changes have to do with reach so I would shorten the rope and then slow the boat. This gives you more time to think and work on technique.
