  1. Slalom and Trick scores were outstanding. Jump was down a bit from last weekend, not sure if there was a bit of a tailwind ? Also. I think only 2 come out of LCQ @ Jacks. Unlike 3 at the previous 2 events. Anyone know why?
  2. What about Paige and Brooke in Women’s Slalom. Don’t count them out
  3. Yes. Too bad Zero Off isnt compatible with the older engines. A lot of awesome hulls out there that need new engines (when their current engine is still perfectly good) just to be able to upgrade to zero off
  4. Back in the day some LFF skiers would choose right palm down so they wouldn’t have to switch grip for jump
  5. Drago. Your right about KLP changing. Spoke to him about a few years back. He said it made a big difference for him
  6. Skied for almost 40 years with the wrong grip. Tried it a few years earlier and gave up. Yes just felt way too weird. Then decided again a couple of years ago. Just free skied Took awhile. Stay with it. It is worth it. Your offside lean and position will be way better
  7. For a 2004 you will probably need to upgrade to a multi line display gauge also. Another $250
  8. Yes. Jim is right. No skiing or Motors allowed on Westwood. We did host Canadian Nats there in 87 and a couple of BC Summer Games, but no way anymore. Long lake and Brannon lake are way too busy. We had our club on Quenell lake in Yellow pt for more than 20 years. It is great for skiing, but water is green with algae. No slalom courses on any of the lakes in Nanaimo area anymore unfortunately
  9. Sproat Lake would be your best choice. Close to Port Alberni. Also Campbell River has probably the most active Club for skiers. The Lake they ski on is Mcivor Lake. Then there is Lake Cowichan and Shawingan Lake. Unfortunately no private lakes over here. Nanaimo used to have a great site, but not anymore.
  10. Great choice on the 2000 Nautique. You will love it
  11. Watch out for hull blisters. Learned my lesson. As mentioned earlier I would also lean towards EFI. 93-97 Mastercraft and Nautique 95 -01 with GT-40. The problem with the GT-40 is that you can’t confirm hrs. Great engine with many owners over 2000 hrs, so maybe that isn’t a huge issue if compression checked

    WTF?!?!?

The one pic in the shop looks to me like a 196 bottom and a Brendella top
  13. I know when Kristi ran 39 in Sep of 96 it was behind the new 1997 Tsc-1 Ski Nautique. Or Bubble Butt as we call it.
  14. She’ll run 41 when she gets the offside dialed That was incredible!
  15. As stated above undefeated on Pro Jump Tour in 96. That’s impressive!
  16. Surprised no one has mentioned Dane M. I don’t think he has run it in a tournament but pretty close. I am sure he is running 41 in practice. Not too sure how tall he is? But I don’t think he is anywhere near 6 ft I think Him and Terry have a real good chance of running it sometime soon
  17. For those of us that have never had the luxury of a private site, and have always had to battle the elements of a public lake, I would put private man made site way at the top of the list of must haves for improved skiing.
  18. Looks nice. I doubt the engine hrs are correct. Probably the worst thing about the GT-40. You can’t confirm hrs.
  19. Love to see a HO CDX or Connelly Concept review
  20. Agreed. Matt is great. Awesome with all 3 events
  21. How about Vintage Ski behind Vintage boat
  22. Oh yes. The 197 definitely looked better. Agreed
