  1. Wow. Works with a Reflex release. Or, on one of the standard Radar plates. Very cool. "True Hybrid" boot. Who would have thought... B)
  2. @papp101 Adjust both corners in about 1/8 inch increments. Test, repeat. There is a point of diminishing returns.
  3. From your current "dead flat", you want to make the plate move downward by extending the 2 support rods. Also, be sure all the screws that hold the plate to the bottom of the hull are snug. The Supra wake should improve somewhat as the bow is driven downward, which is what moving the wake plate downward will do. Also, be sure you do not have any excess weight in the back of the boat. The improvement will be minor, and may sacrifice a little top end speed. The Sunsport wake should be fairly good, but not like later day comp boats. Good luck.
  4. @JayG80 And, some saw dust.
  5. Wind outside of Chicago. Who would have thought? B)
  6. @Jody_Seal You have color lights under your suburban too?
  7. @Jody_Seal "Spam, eggs and hash browns!! Add in some canned corned beef hash." Not grits?
  8. Southern Regionals, Lyman's!
  9. I'm fortunate to have both @Inboardfix and @Jody_Seal within a reasonable drive if I ever need major drive train work.
  10. Reporting and pics for new gear seems slim so far this year. What are the manufacturers bragging most about? Do tell. Post pics of new gear you're taking home this week. Give us something so we don't have to read about octane anymore!!
  11. @DW. Spam? I'd rather go 87 octane. B) But, I only have a 5.7 anyway.
  12. Just my hunch here. @brooks emphasized this new Vapor boot is a "true hybrid". Notice in video, the injection molded sole plate has the standard 5 hole screw pattern for mounting the boot to Radar single or Sequence plates. And, as seen in this pic on their web site, the "true hybrid" boot appears to have the ledge on the heel to work with a Reflex release. And, the new toe design Brooks mentions appears to fit in the Reflex toe loop. Also, notice how well Brooks hides the heel throughout the video with his hand. Hmmm. Happenstance? He does allow one quick glimpse, though. So, the "trule hybrid" Vapor boot - use on a Radar plate, or use it with a Reflex release system? Rely on the bungie to release your foot when mounted to a Radar plate. Or, crank the bungie and BOA down when using with Reflex release. Or, it has nothing to do with working with Reflex. Instead, maybe Radar has their own 'Reflex-like' release system coming out? "True hybrid". Looks good. We'll see.
  13. @thager You asked, there you go! B)
  14. @adamhcaldwell Austin must also not being leaving his C75 in his car. ;)
  15. The drop down banner is number 1 for making the site intolerable. And, something that should be easy to fix. The drop down effect should not take any more than about 10% across the top of the screen, It now takes up slightly over half the screen every time you move the pointer even the slightest upward. @NikolG - Have you found a way to stop this? Or, are you just OK working with less than half a screen? Maybe it works different with a different browser? I use Chrome. Until the banner is fixed, I stand by that the site is a royal PITA.
  16. Always keep my ski in the bed of my pickup truck when I'm using it to drive to the lake n back. It has an insulated tonneau cover, doesn't get any hotter than my garage. But, when using my gas sipping car, need to rethink leaving it in there.
  17. @Horton Changing your gate? Two hands? B)
  18. @Nanu_Nanu Just curious. Are you in the 38-39-41 off category noted, skiing behind the latest boats with DI 6.0 or 6.2 engines? I'm not, so this conversation doesn't pertain to me. For me, the first 20+ things challenging my skiing is...my skiing.
  19. Hey @ski6jones When do you change your signature to read, "Cedar Ridge, MS"? Hope you're doing well. OK, now for my "Off Topic" checks. Anything off topic is thread is probably a good thing. B)
  20. What @wish said. I occassionally ski the older, 1989 Ski Brendella shortline. The wake on that is fine, but has a bit of a 22 bump as most boats did back then. Spray does begin to be a little factor at 32 off in a head wind.
  21. That drop down banner that covers half the screen when you move the pointer allows me only about 60 seconds before I just scream and close that garbage web site down. Is it really that difficult to just fix that?
  22. Looks like the old site has pretty much become non-functional.
