  1. A few years ago I was asking the same question, people were there just to get a ranking score . There was no competition at all so I made one on my own , a simple whoever scores the highest over their awsa average that day gets the trophy. I found the biggest one I could buy , it stays with the winner till the next tournament in West Michigan. I think we have 8 or 9 that are eligable tournaments to win it at. The very first tournament we did a boys slalom skier won it , it hooked him good on slalom tournaments, not sure if he missed one since . He also placed 6th at nationals last year, coincidence I like to think not... Here's @MISkier winning it a few years ago. This year I ordered the smallest trophy you can buy that says "first loser " on it for the person that is second, it just adds a little bit of fun. It is extremely hard to win the trophy when you ski that many tournaments in a year because your average is on your top 3 scores and to be eleigable to win you must have at least 3 scores. The biggest thing I like is the social aspect of a tournament , after it is done we always have food and beverages and great conversation.
  2. @mundo the last race I went to was indy when Schumacher won in the rain the year Juan Pablo couldn't keep his car on the track in the rain. It was a spectacular race . The Austin track looks like it would be a great track to see in person as well with that long climb up to turn one. We have been going to at least 1-2 IMSA races a year now, much more accessible and cost friendly.
  3. One can only hope that the whiner Hamilton will not see a podium...... mehh it doesn't matter to me anymore, when Schumacher retired I switched to IMSA/Leman racing anyway much more entertaining.
  4. @ the computer screen , course is pulled.........
  5. This would suck beyond words to sell all my ski stuff because i could not do it anymore.......
  6. My bow cover has come off maybe 3 times , but it is very nice for room when you have a day you go out to a public lake with the family. It makes no noise whatsoever. Also no need to clean the front with it on as it keeps everything dry and clean. By the way we have a 2000' lake with a straight in shot and we get to 36 mph no problem with the 5.7 2015 , the 2014 not so much.....
  7. rs-1 , strada or now vapor boots , can't ski without them
  8. words that come to mind "run forest run"
  9. the '98 was not a good hull.....
  10. Having just spent a crap ton of money on a new 2015 and not planning on buying anything new for ten years again . I'm with @Horton on this one "torches and pitch forks". I don't care if it kind of feels the same , make it the same.....
  11. @skibug my front cover has only been off once for a family trip. I don't believe I have driven any of the '14 , '15 or '16 prostars in the course with the cover off. also I looked at my counter weight and I have 160 lbs I put tight to the gunnel if there is only 2 of us skiing , I take it out when we have 3
  12. @skibug in the back lift up the access cover to the rudder and move the steering cable from the outside hole to the inside hole . This will make the steering much more responsive . You just need 2 end wrenches to do it . Also if you only have a ski rack on the drivers side and you stack all your gear as well on that side the weight does add up.
  13. @Chuck_Dickey I have it in mine , its awesome . Just take it out hose it off with soapy water and let it dry, and lay it back in. I'll get a pic tomorrow when I ski
  14. exactly like @ob1 said; however to make it easy on the diver have a pole that is as long as it is deep with an arrow screwed to the pole at the top and at the bottom where the diver is, (both pointing the same way). That way the diver does not have to come up and down a hundred times the boat crew just rotates the arrow which way the diver needs to move the anchor to make it perfect with minimal up and down diving . It works best if the arrow pointer on the divers end is a couple of feet up from the bottom so its not in the silt.
  15. @Kelvin is right on , for the money and what your looking for
  16. My RS-1/Strada/Now vapor boots , I will never ski without them. Ski's change the bindings stay the same!
  17. @GOODESkier I was just noticing the pure joy and excitement on your face and your son's and the pure jealousy and sadness on your daughters face . She's thinking my birthdays comin and there had better be one on the table for me then!!!

  20. If you spray food grade silicone on the seals.they slip on and off easier .
  21. @richarddoane‌ 1000 hrs in the course, so now it gets to go to the happy river in the north where the nephew's and the niece's can use it at my dad's cottage . I sold 75% of it to him when I got a new one and it works out great that I don't have to trailer my boat anymore and still have one to use there when our family goes up .
  22. 2001 Malibu response lx @1100hrs, cottage boat now 2014 prostar@ 99 hrs
  23. @Skoot1123‌ get screw anchors from" gme supply" the galvanized ones they use for telephone pole support wires they are made for harsh environments . Also run a pvc coated 1/4" galvanized wire line loosely from each anchor to the other so you will not have to look for all of them in the spring every time.
