    Thanks Fam-man, we were evacuated on Friday night and are still watching and waiting. Here is a pic from that night. The lights on the other side of the lake is where our house is.

    Bigtex, I know the vapor ski fairly well as I am on a 2016 myself. However, I have an 11 year old son that is open water skiing and still fairly new at it. Do you think this would be too much ski for a newbie? He's currently skiing on an old Connelly.

    Hey Fam-man, sorry just got back this week from vacation at the lake. The course used to be put in by a guy across from me, but he became frustrated by the lack of respect and the amount of damage being caused by seadoo's and inboard outboards. The one that gets put in now is only in for 2 weeks every summer. The house 3 doors down from me puts it in when his son in law visits as they bring the course with them but they take it home when they leave. Let me know if you plan to be on the lake....there's always a cold beer or 10 at my place.

    FSSPCat, most mornings until 10ish. But the last few weekends its been amazing. Feel free to hit me up and stop by for a pull and a cold one, I'm across the lake from Hwy 3 when just entering the town from the east.

    Horton, this site is a valuable tool for mfgs as well. The great feedback on the 2016 Vapor made me open my wallet. Without this site and the great posts, I could have saved some $$$, but missed out on a great ski!!

    If you bring your quote into Shuswap and ask them to match they will do that but only if its not a crazy promo or clear out. They will calculate the shipping, taxes and if not a US mfg product, the duty. They are great to deal with and I have stopped cross border shopping to support them.

    Like a few others, it took me a few pulls to get used to the new ski. Once you get used to the feel, it is by far the best ski I have been on! I came from a Strada as well.

    As mentioned by most. These do fit small. I had them double up the toe cap on each foot when heat molding and it worked great. I'm a size 12 dress shoe and heat molded a size 12 double toe capped boot.

    Picked mine up on the weekend with a new set a of Vapor boots. I found the boots fit small.

    You guys are killing me! I cant wait for this ski to hit the Canadian Market. I guess its time to retire the Strada!
