@FWinter does the additional fuel capacity have much of an impact on wake when full? Being on a public lake with a course, I do fill my boat when I need fuel but hate the additional weight in my current boat.

I believe Mastercraft did attempt to build this boat and it was the X14. It was a great model, but did not ski like a prostar and obviously sales weren't strong enough as the model is no longer in production. To me you buy a boat like this to ski and if you're able, a second boat for groups of guests (Pontoon).

TEL has it right. If you need a boat for more than 7, look at another model.

I'll be really disappointed if they get away from the pickle fork and the removable bow cover. My 2020 got bumped from production due to Covid, so I am patiently waiting to see the 2021 design.

I try to follow reviews and this site has been a big influence in my decision. Last ski was a 2016 Vapor and current ski is a 2020 Vapor. My thought is that there are a lot of great skis being manufactured and if I was an elite skier, some of my decision would be based on the sponsorship offer as well as the ski. For example I would switch to a Goode or D3 over my Vapor if they provided me with free skis.....just in case they read this! :) -
Doesn't look bad, but I prefer a matched lid. Makes is look like you found one after the boat was ordered. IMHO

How much use does the slalom course closest to your house get used?

I put ours in on a public lake and only know of 4 or 5 boats that use it. The biggest issue we have are the guys that want to fish in or around the course so you cant make a pass. -
aspski, I find they fit a little small. I'm consistent with sizing for just about everything but had to go up a size in the carbitex.

I would consider yourself lucky. The Calgary boat show only gets a Malibu and hasn't seen a Nautique or Prostar in years.
