  1. My wife and I have flown Southwest with skis multiple times. The only thing is stay under 50lbs per bag. I loaded up a 3evt bag to 72lbs and it cost me extra. That is the only time I have been charged.
  2. I liked ....Vamoose... I heard that from some of the locals in Chile last fall.
  3. @tjm I am 16 weeks out on a full distal tear repair skiing short sets at 60% all 3 events. I am 56. If your not seeing a sports med specific clinic I would check one out. The difference is. My wife full tear ACL and her surgeon ask are you a 50 year old athlete or a just want to repair it. Surgeon had her Skiing in 3 months at 50%. Full plan to be back competing at 6 months. San Antonio sports med was awesome. My surgeon was great on the distal tear (local ortho with a great sports med background)but did not have a plan to get me back competing. Like SA Sports Med. When I ask him about getting back I just get the protocol sheet answer. My PT skis and has been great. The decisions to ski we’re mine. My experience is sports med clinics don’t want to make you functional they are more about getting you back to where you were.
  4. I have the black and white I think it’s a 2018 or 19. I use it for toes and hands. I am a 3k tricker. I like it stable, edges well. Great ski.
  5. Horton I have the one you have pictured. I love it take my compressor to the dock. It even sucks the oil filter dry also on my 17 MC.
  6. I used to have a public slalom course. I kept it straight by putting subs on the gate pvc.
  7. If you have not been to Ski Texas. Slalom looks like a par 5 at Augusta. Huge trees lining both sides of the slalom lake. 2 year old Dugan jump facing southeast. Primary wind SE on the jump lake. Crazy good overall site. Always a great time. Jeff and Tina Lindsey

  11. We have had it in San Marcos for a while. I like it. Donel has been great to us.
  12. My illusion X tower was almost touching the bottom of the windshield and was all black. The boat was a promo boat. I don’t know if that made a difference on mounting. Great looking boat in the photo. The LXI mini tower looked good also it fit the windshield. (You only bumped your head 1 time) I had a couple of those also.
  13. I had an 08 with an Illusion X. My son was running shallow 38s at 36. He never touched the tower. Before I ordered the boat I talked to an engineer at Malibu he said possible at 38 and might effect 39. Had to remove for Jump in tournaments but I didn’t for practice. Jeff Lindsey
  14. It’s been freaking cold hear...water was 51 air 55 tonight when I skied. most of the diehards are heading to Santiago next week. I would give you a pull if I was going to be around. Hopefully someone else from smrr is available. It’s 25 minutes from seguin.
  15. Enjoy this format. Just made me think of skiers that got there start in Colligate. Cole Kalkbrenner learned to jump at Missouri State. He went 207 a couple of weeks ago. Amazing individual for the sport.
  16. She won over 35 S2 trick in 2012.. Take my word for she's FINE...Were looking at different options. She really liked the MC at Bennett's last weekend. I'm headed out to jump and slalom what this boat excels at.
  17. Didn't want to sell but the wife wants a current trick boat. 2017 Carbon Pro 6Ltr Stone Grey and white, fully equipped, 296 hrs as of last night. Mint Condition. Pulled a multiple slalom records last year. Oil change every 50 hrs, Full service last fall. asking $44,500 but I am motivated. See it on ski-it-again under promo boats. 18. Weekend at Bennetts. What a great trip! Thanks to the Staff. Luke was awesome. Really helped my wife's and my slalom. (Good Stuff) Jay, Ann, Danyell and Critch make the place better every time I'm there. What a way to kick off the season. I would highly recommend it. Jump coaching was out of site. Thanks again to the Bennetts and Crew. Jeff and Tina Lindsey

  21. I just Want to Jump in. Lake 4 will not sit empty there will be practice til mid day then the boys and gals at Radar will be taking it over. River on the back side of the property. River Floats available or just go sit and relax in the cool waters of the San Marcos River. Best BBQ in Texas 8 minutes away. Your choice Smittys, Krietz or Blacks. If you have not experienced one of these your missing out on the traditional Texas Pit BBQ. Slitterbaun 20 minutes away, 2nd largest Outlet Mall in the world 10 minutes away. Gruene Texas 20 minutes this sleepy little town also has oldest dance hall in TX and lots of little shops and places to hang out with kids. I can go on and on and still not talk about Austin or San Antonio. Also remember this is only a 4 day National. The tournament will run all day Saturday with premier events ending the day. So it will not be a clean up day where there is no one still on site the last day. The site will be JUMPIN (yes pun intended) Sat night with a lot going on. At SMRR we have never been accused of not knowing how to throw a PARTY!!!! So y'all come down one join the FUN!! Jeff Lindsey SMRR
  22. John Shull he had a course on Bull Shoals before building a private lake. My course was on Table Rock Lake. I had a couple of foam subs tied to the gate pipe right at the buoy connection.
  23. @ski603 if you have water depth where you put your course, subs on the entrance and exit gate pipe and you will never have to tighten it as the water level changes. I don't know the physics but I had a public water course for 20+ years. I was told to do it by a wise person. I don't think I ever had to tighten the course again.
