  1. I think c tournaments are run pretty well here. But I do have a c trick and a L pb. I do not no credit tricks I cant see. When your on the bank it is hard to see rotation and air. You also get a little extra time by hand timing. There is not much difference in slalom except when you go to an L event you normally get better drivers. Jump scores are better at L because there are not drivers jumping in and out of the seat to get there driving credits at L tournaments. The same driver drives the whole group. My 2 cents Jeff Lindsey
  2. I have been riding the Radar for 4 sets. It feels really good on toes I can feel the line a lot better. The take off seems to be as good. It always seems to take me a few sets to know where the edge is. I have been able to clean up a few tricks. I really like it. I am riding the 43". My 2 cents Jeff Lindsey
  3. NORM... will be good to see you in WP. On the subject of pulling through the ramp. Tina was actually trying to cut on the ramp. I could not figure how you could be so good into the base and out of kilter off the top. She had always been told to pull through the top so she was cutting on the ramp. Jimmy said to fire her coach. ME.. Since then she has looked awesome. Upped her speed and is doing well. If your in the area come to SMRR and take a poke we have jumps going both directions now. Norm, See ya next week Kevin, Do what I did take your lovely wife to Bennett's for a weekend and learn to do it properly. I did this spring and my average has gone from 116 to 123. It is all basics... I just do not have any stones. Cullen went 122 this weekend and looks awesome. Jeff Lindsey
  4. Ham, centurion qualified for sc regional last year. We have a 2012 on our lake I have jumped behind. The common thing with the 5.7 is we were having to run the power factor way up to get the times in. The boat feels felt fine at normal 6.0 the times were consistently slow. At SC regional PF at 9 to get woody and Jody in tolerance. boat was pulled after men 3. I feel propped for jump it could be an OK jump boat in the 5.7. And a good wheel man. Call me if you want more info. Jeff Lindsey PS Jody Hooten went 176 yesterday at SMRR new SCR Regional record Men 3. Jay Eidem 144. We had 23 jumpers great conditions.a fun day. Tennessee was represented at our tournament by to 2 nice young women. Bre carder and Allie nicholson. They were a pleasure to be around.
  5. White house to the right when you come in the gate. 13 TXI on the lift. Cold Beer in Fridge. Jeff
  6. Are you guys making it by SMRR? I hear your going to be in the area. Come by for a slalom pull if you want. Jeff Lindsey
  7. There was no way Shane was going to say can't do any worse again. It was a great tournament Marc Austin did a great job with the electronics. The after ski BBQ at the Hamilton's was great. The skiing was really good. Congrats to Bailey and Brie on there accomplishments. Just Ditto what Shane said great recap. Jeff and Tina
  8. Dave a lot a SMRR. Its warmer down here. Taking 1st jump set of the year Sun... Thats my plan. Come see us. Jeff Lindsey
  9. @londonskier I agree with Mark exactly. Except I am a lefty. I feel the edge of the ski a lot more. It alows me to feel the beginng and the finish. Not a night and day change just a good improvement. Jeff Lindsey
  10. John Shull has a private lake an hour east of Springfield in Hartville. There is a slalom course in Little Cow Creek on Table Rock Lake. Their are some active ballers there. That is where i skied before I moved to Texas. Jeff Lindsey

  12. @jdarwin I skied on it and I was on a 67 it felt small to me. I normally do ski on a 67. Tip stayed down both sides. Not being a D3 skier the Quest was very similar to what eveybody says about D3. It was a fun demo. Jeff Lindsey
  13. What is it doing now? I usually just use the adj rudder until the water gets above 70-75 and see where the boat is. My 13 is still a little loose, but I think it will get pretty good as the water warms up. I dont run any weight in the nose we 3 evt. If it is going to a slalom event I have a 45 I put in the nose. I keep a 45 under the passenger seat all the time for balancing purposes. Right now it has a 45 under the passenger seat. The adj. rudded pushed out some and the boat is pretty good out of the box. 10 hrs. Jeff Lindsey
  14. I had an issue with my Strada and the guys at Radar took awesome care of me. Thanks Sully. That is what makes me happy my whole family skis on Radar. Thanks again Jeff, Tina, and Drew Lindsey All on Stradas all PB's last year.
  15. My buddy surfs with a 2004 MC 190 with a fat sack. We had an 08 Responce LXI with a wedge and surfed with no problems. Jeff Lindsey
  16. I would rather have 5 Gallons of gas or bring a 12pack. Usually a little left over for my next outing. Jeff Lindsey
  17. One of my friends has one on our lake. The boat skis well he has Z-box. It handles good. Great boat for a slalom only skier. Jeff Lindsey
  18. Grant, For the skiing and vacation ski school my family has always felt Bennett's had it all. It is a 9 hour drive from Kimberling City. I lived on the Rock until 2 years ago. We have done the New Orleans weekend before ski school. Hit the Plantation homes. There is more than enough to do. We always rented a cottage for privacy. Our own kitchen so we could keep some of our own food and beverages. Coaching and facility always been 1st class. Just watch out for the Pro shop it has everything. Jay and Ann are great hosts. If you want to have a great time and improve your skiing Bennett's is a great destination. Jeff Lindsey
  19. Trent is the best coach I have ever worked with. I have gotten pointers from many people who have helped me. Damien Sharmen has given me the best advice on how to practice. (yes in slalom) Both have helped me improve my slalom as a 3 eventer.
  20. Ham, Kirby informed me the Lindsey Homestead is the official home for Team Tennessee during the 2014 nationals. Bring your river shoes and beer my fridge only holds 42. If you and the NASTY BOYS are here that might be a 30 minute supply. Can't wait to have ya'll. GW I will have home site advantage. I need something since I have never beaten you.... Jeff Lindsey
  21. Tina uses OLR because it cuts down time to set up scoring and running orders plus all the the reasons Kelvin listed. 1st video is up for Tribal Throwdown visit SMRR facebook. 1st 300 paid pulls. Team tourney at SMRR. Skiing, Team format, Bonus event, Party on the river Sat night live band burgers and dogs. Jeff Lindsey
  22. We use both a soft ML travel bag and sport tube. Both hold all your gear and a few clothes to keep luggage cost down. Have not had a problem with either. The only thing on the sport tube is the tube has not been properly put back together by TSA the last 2 trips left uncliped. JEff Lindsey
  23. Clinchers man !! that will keep your skin on your hand and will continue to improve the entertainment value of your sets!!! Launched OTF's. T$ is worth every $! Look at my wife she is kicking butt.. Kevin and I are not the only 2 guys at SMRR that their wives ski better than they do. Jeff Lindsey
  24. Guys, the funny thing is Katie (his wife) is a beautiful skier. He watches her ski in the mirror everyday. Kevin is a great guy and a blast to ski with and yes provides us with (comic gold moments) His skiing philosophy is just a little flawed....and we can't blame it on Canada.... we have some really good Canadian skiers at our site. Jeff Lindsey SMRR
