  1. @Horton What was your distant from tail to the front binding set at on the 68” GT-R? Also, did you use the same fin numbers on the 68”? If not, could you share those also? Thank you.
  2. TSC-1 was the best slalom boat I've ever owned or been in.
  3. @Than_Bogan beat me to it. Swerve with the "S" being created by a skiers path
  4. @ Horton Moving the buoys in 9” per side should have you running 39 more than your running 38 now, after a couple of sets to acclimate. I base this guesstimate on skiing a course that was correct and another that was 6” narrow per side on a regular basis in the past. I’m not sure how much it will improve your 39 score when you go back to an accurate course but I can guarantee it would be fun. I think it would work well if you could go to the narrow course the next pass after running a good 38 without panic. Of course that would require a huge pulley system or a multiple lake site. I guess you could have 6 swimmers outside the skiers path ready to quickly swim in and change the buoys from one anchor line to the other. ;)
  5. I can’t believe there have been no comments about this video. I’ve just been too busy to post. Great skiing! Also, look how well that ski turns and how deep the tail is when pushed extremely hard in the turns.
  6. I get to try one Monday. I haven't been on a honeymoon in a very long time so I'm looking forward to it! Maybe its a keeper!
  7. @Deep 11 Need to change your handle to “Done 11”
  8. I’ve skied with the new Zero Off software loaded and on the Plus setting the last two sets. For me it’s the best pull since the original KX/PX switch from Perfect Pass and the Original Zero Off, both of which were great. Not sure if the Plus setting is as good as those were because that’s about 18 and 10 years ago so too much water under the ski. Once they went away for the KX/PX on Perfect Pass and added ABC/123 to Zero Off I didn’t like either one.
  9. FYI. Ordered a handle about 2 weeks ago and got it today.
  10. Thanks to all who have reached out to me for a ski ride. I’ve received 7 offers! Proof again of what a great community we have in water skiing! Looks like I may have ski more than work at this point!
  11. I will be working at JSFC July 10-18 and was hoping to catch a couple of sets in the afternoons or over the weekend. Does anyone have any contact info for slalom skiing in that area? Thanks.
  12. Or maybe that was one of the big dawgs from last weekend.
  13. This thread has officially gone to the dogs.
  14. I saw a 3 1/4 today from the boat. 22 off @ 32 MPH but agree it does not happen very often and is hard to call.
  15. @Horton I’ve see guys get up on one but never get up without one.
  16. I agree with @ALPJr. Gordon’s waterski calendar is 15$. They sell and are worth it. I’d pay $45 for 3 editions per year if the pictures were frame worthy. Maybe would only have to contain 1 well done and illustrated article. Maybe a centers fold suitable for framing? Gordon’s calendars are available through Barts. One might could generate sales through retail as well as subscriptions.
  17. Spray Magazine to WaterSki Magazine to Ball of Spray Magazine. Come on @Horton, @jhughes, and @Skid, and others, look into making it happen! I’m speaking from a selfish standpoint. I’ve always enjoyed them and looked at it as a way to support the sport in a small way. I own them all from the beginning with Spray back in the late 1970’s to date and will continue if a replacement comes along.
  18. With “Genius Spray Pockets” TM
  19. There is a little footage in the film "Edged in Water 2" I think. Been a long time since I watched it.
