  1. We had some Swiss guys ski with us a few months back that would yodel or make chicken noises.
  2. @LeonL you may be right but you got to aim high hey? At 45 I hope I can improve current pb's for a while yet. Wish me luck
  3. There's 1.5 buoys difference between my practice pb and tournament pb at both 34 and 36. 34 scores are 5 buoys more than 36. Hope the Denali and the offseason training open that gap up a bit more this season.
  4. I had the privilege of meeting him and watching him compete in 2014, more than happy to stop and pose for a photo. We visited his site a few days after and both Deena and Andy were happy to take my 11yr old boy out in the boat with them while they skied a client. Very down to earth and approachable family, fond memories.
  5. Excellent, look forward to your comments, I'm very happy with mine. (Denali)
  6. I've just spent my second day on a 66.5 production ski, I put my front binding on 30" as suggested, fin is as it came, probably10 degree wing angle, Skied some 28 at 34 to start with, probably felt better at 32, but happy with 28 as well, today I ran the 32 and 35 on first attempt. I also went and did some passes at 28/36 and really liked the way it came around on the onside, I've got work to do on offside, probably me more so than the ski. Very impressed with the first few sets. I'm reluctant to adjust anything, it seems to be doing a great job as is!
  7. Not sure of order numbers but they are getting them out. 2 ready for Australia, thanks Adams.
  8. @eleeski yes I sold that boat before the upgrade and try to just ski with ZO now.
  9. I have a Z box upgrade for sale if anyone's keen? Was bought to suit 07 LX Malibu with 320lcr with drive by wire.
  10. Thanks for the review, about to order one and weigh just over 190 so very keen to see which you prefer, have ridden both 67" and 68" inch D3's but lean towards a 67 usually.
  11. I skied 2 sets yesterday, first set on my H1, then put bindings and my fin into the Arc, first 2 passes felt a little weird but once I got my body position right I ran through 28,32,35 and 3@38 same as I had on the first set, very impressed and felt like I could and should have gone further. Was stable and predictable but still got that burst of speed I love in the H1. Have tried Quests and the H2 but liked and felt right at home on the Arc.
  12. My son with his textbook turn, my photos never look as good as his
  13. Thanks @oldjeep and @Skislalom This one has the same canister as you described. Will just leave it as is for now.
  14. Went to service a 2010 Lxi the other day, no fuel filter to be seen, enquired with the local dealer who told me they are an unserviceable set up in the fuel tank. It is an Australian built boat with the 350 Monsoon engine. Can anyone shed any light on this set up? Seems strange, my 07 LX had the paper cartridge type filter in top of tank. Thanks.
  15. Great stuff @GOODESkier. I got my goal last season of running 38@34 mph in a rated tournament, next season run 38@36mph. Also hope to see the wife run full course at whichever speed she likes, see our boy shorten @34 mph and our daughter (3) be towed on skis. Looks like a busy summer!
  16. Hi, I have moved from a X7 to a H1, the first two sets I skied good scores but find it less consistent and harder to be in the sweet spot, when it is I love it. After reading this thread I moved my bindings back a slot and it feels like I have moved more weight over the front of the ski, it feels like a shorter ski though and twitchy in the turns. @Horton did you make any fin adjustments afterwards?
  17. The Florida hotel and conference center was really nice and close to it all. The breakfast downstairs was the best.
