  1. I have to admit...the last ski I bought which was about 15 years ago (HO Extreme something or other) I bought on looks. I always thought it was a really good looking ski...actually still do. Every time I come on this site though and see that Mapple 6.0 I can't help but think what a well executed design it is. So...best looking ski you have seen?
  2. I give up...anyone want to buy some water skis?
  3. Being the 25th anniversary of The Pixies Surfer Rosa, I guess it could have been talking about Kim Deal
  4. You know what...I think they are SHOWING the Senate C, but SELLING the Senate.
  5. I was just perusing ebay and say this...If it is a Senate C, this would be a pretty good bargain for someone looking for a 65" http://www.ebay.com/itm/Radar-Waterski-2012-Senate-65-Slalom-with-Vector-Bindings-Front-Rear-/251248401501?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3a7f925c5d
  6. I have never tried a wet suit...but the ad in Waterski magazine has me convinced Camaro is pretty awesome.
  7. It really is a good looking ski!
  8. oh...also, Radar is on facebook and pretty quick to reply.

  10. They didn't say, but I have the 67 and did to the heel of the boot from the tail. Looks like I will be doing some searching to confirm the tail setting. Never done that before.

  12. From Radar: Put your front boot 29.5 inches from the tail of the ski and butt the ARTP right up to it. The fin block is fine just the way it is. They come from the dealer pre set with the correct settings so no need to play with those. Hope you love the ski!

  14. It is all excellent technology...but also adds to the cost.
  15. That 6.2 is amazing...decent fuel mileage and big numbers.
  16. Interesting...the only thing I don't like about the 6.0 is the gas mileage...love it to tow with. The 5.3 does good, but not great.
  17. New ski came in, sure enough the other ski was wonky. The block on this ski sits nice and flush with out the sharp edge. Very impressed with the company I bought it from...it was a no questions asked exchange. I went ahead and ordered the Lyric for my wife. More than what I wanted to spend, but man I love a company with good customer service...they seem to be getting more rare.
  18. Just checked their closeout on 2012 Radar stuff...very competitive in pricing.
  19. Can't wait to try my Senate C....so, are you guys saying you should take off the wing at lower or higher speeds and why?
  20. If you are getting crap on your leg, you need to find a cleaner lake.
  21. In the future maybe...right now I think this will be all the ski I need and more.
  22. @brady Powell is just my favorite place in the world. We went quite a bit when I was in High School and College before I moved back to MA. That is where this pic was taken.
