  1. Do yourself a favor and take a few days to hit up Banff while you are there...amazing.
  2. I always keep some lake lice repellent in the back of my boat for such occasions. http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3369/3666112469_bbfb8d6813_z.jpg
  3. https://facebook.com/photo.php?v=10152369986047524&l=8526334576160069019 Tried my first one handed turn tonight.
  4. I did the suction cup mount, floaty door, and then cut a pool noodle up and zip tied it to the suction cup mount. Important to do a bathtub or pool test to make sure the whole thing floats. I then tethered it to my boot. When you tighten everything up though, use a screw driver or it will just flop over.
  5. @jwr I think I saw that jump! http://static.tvgcdn.net/MediaBin/Content/100830/News/Todays_News_Our_Take/5_fri/100903HappyDays1.jpg
  6. Better to learn how to deal with her anxiety now than later in life. Just keep being supportive. The nice thing about kids who have the innate drive to do well is you are coaching them to control it, not always having to light a fire under their arse.
  7. I was going in between the Ergos and the Boas as well...I settled on the Boas because I got a 15% off coupon and...the orange matched my ski. The Boas always seem a little loose on the first run, but once they get good and wet have a nice snug, but not tight feel.
  8. I have a foot throttle and hand throttle on my boat...I LOVE the foot throttle, but trying to hold a skier at +-1mph is nearly impossible.
  9. @Pat M I am both a BBQ & Beer snob and you can't go wrong with either of those suggestions. Very weird hours on Tree House, but their Tornado is fantastic. BTs is the only place I will go to for BBQ on the East coast as I have been ruined by too many trips to Lockhart, TX. As long as I am so far off topic...Pretty Things makes some amazing brews as well.
  10. This is a running joke with my wife (who looks much better than me) that I am going to trade her in while she still has some market value.
  11. @Pat M I know, I was just cracking wise. They have a ski jump set up, but no course right now. I don't know if you drink beer, but there is a great micro-micro brew in your area called tree house brewing that goes really good with BTs BBQ...also in your area.
  12. @waterskigirl How far is it from an In N Out burger?
  13. @Pat M Southbridge...not far...mind if I grab a pull tonight? :)
  14. Lake Chaubunagungamaug (Webster lake)
  15. My lawn does look incredible...as does the new garden
  16. Mentho...oh...here is the way I imagine these things going: Wife: Sell the boat Husband: No Wife: I am wearing flannel PJs to bed for the rest of our marriage Husband: Fine, I will try to sell the boat Sign: 1984 Bayliner for sale: $19,000 or best offer
  17. Than, I may have asked you this before, but where do you ski? This was me on Monday hoping some one from the club would still be pulling :)
  18. It is one thing to have a shortened season, cold water, and have to dodge tubers all day long to get a decent ski run in...but I have always comforted myself by saying we don't have 20 foot anacondas, alligators, or snowbirds...but COME ON! IT IS JUNE AND I HAVE ONLY GOT ONE RUN IN BECAUSE OF ALL THIS RAIN!? Not fair.
  19. A guy I used to work with would come into work every day and brag about how much weight he was losing. This guy absolutely ate like crap. His idea of healthy was McDonalds pancakes. The fitness fanatic in the office was going crazy and was about to give up on eating healthy and exercising when the dinner food connoisseur came in dejected one morning. Apparently he gained all the weight back when he changed the batteries in his electronic scale.
  20. @ral I said the same thing to my wife and got the eye roll :)
  21. Fathers day is upon us...and I figured I would give a little better hint as to what I wanted this year. After my first free ski of the season, I decided to ask for gloves. I liked the 2012 Radar Ergo (they match the ski, and yes I am silly like that) but everyone that has them seems to be pricing them almost the same as the Boa. So which is the better glove?
  22. I went with the Senate -C Same thing...only used it once and fell in love instantly.
