  1. Got to ski with AnneMarie at Cobble a couple years ago. It was really awesome to see her do so well. She is a hard worker!
  2. @Horton I wish I had more self-restraint, but I couldn't resist. Sorry people can't play nice in the sandbox 😞
  3. I am curious to know how it compares to the 94!
  4. Will they still be able to ski in the Masters?
  5. Working at a ski school, but only 3 weeks.
  6. My son's goal this year was to make Nationals. He is going to be at a ski school in NC when the North East is holding their regionals (where he would compete in the majority of his tournaments), but will be in NC when that region is holding theirs. Is he just SOL?
  7. @UWSkier... Like the rose bowl? Are you sure you aren't UofA skier?
  8. Start it, get off the trailer, putt putt the course, spin around, hit it. Usually half way down the course I get a temp reading. Incidentally, I am a little surprised they don't put oil temps on these, that is the temp you really want moving...at least in the old days...now with zero weight synthetics it probably doesn't matter as much.
  9. That is kind of why I said first owner...I figure at some point every ski boat winds up on a public lake...but that wasn't what it was purchased for.
  10. This seems off topic enough from the other boat topics right now. I got to get a pull from a 23 Prostar for the Swaterski fundraiser and what an absolutely gorgeous boat. We got to talking and wondering what percentage of new Prostars and Nautiques ever see public water from the first owner. My guess was 20%.
  11. They need to sell some merch...I want a sparky vest! Either way...will be making a donation
  12. My son is looking at asu in 2 years for the same reason...what is their new site?
  13. Another Swaterski in the books. If you would still like to make a donation this year, we are leaving the books open until the end of the week: https://www.websterwaterski.org/product/swaterski-sponsor-a-skier/ It was fun, it was cold, it was for a good cause...and we got to play behind a new Prostar (as well as my Gekko), and I am telling you the snow was softer than the water this year. https://photos.google.com/share/AF1QipOsH9KZTua2kOPz89_aj8PvALtYiarwH9k2OfN5ObHPcFFu4bvGVQ2X2_jbmUcAlg?key=bXpvV0t2WWZMQ2RVTlUtRlMzeWdlNHgxVEp1ckN3
  14. Hoping to catch his show in Rhode Island
  15. I swear I have read this before...but, oh the glory he could have gone onto rather than just being a runner up to Dale Earnhardt. https://www.autoweek.com/racing/nascar/a43352634/jeff-gordon-almost-became-water-skier-instead-of-race-car-driver/
  16. I have ordered 2 of these and both of them came without shrinkwrap, which makes me nervous for any filter. Is this the way they come?
  17. Doosee why the can't use Tempe town lake :)
  18. Swaterski is back to raise money for a good cause...fighting brain cancer and supporting those who have it. Locally, we are also collecting food for our local foodbank. If you can't join us personally, please consider making a donation. Thank you!
  19. @Jaypro I just let a friend of mine know.
  20. I did a Terry Winter session recently, the hard thing about video coaching is you are missing that real time observation of what you THINK you are doing vs what you ARE doing. The upside is it is very detailed and allows you to work on things at your pace rather than trying to fix stuff before the blisters fall off. Big fan of Terry, but just realize it is different...not better, not worse...different.
  21. Of what I have heard so far (haven't heard Freddie K yet) Freddie W, Matt Rini, and Tony make a really good paring.
  22. @jjackkrash I love the 6.2 in my Yukon...but ya, that 6.0 was a beast and just didn't care what fuel you gave it
  23. I only use 92 or 93 and then just cut it with lake water to save on money.
