  1. Leon, I think timing may have been an issue. I know you guys have skied more than most of the other clubs. At CCR we had only been on the water 3 times this year and am pretty sure Twin Oaks was about the same. Tonto is about the only person in Ky that had been on the water better than 40 times. Pretty sure you would get the entries up for a 3 event instead of Swerve only. Anyway good tournament and thanks for the effort. (P.S. I caught some nice fish!!!)
  2. @SWC5150 his and your's
  3. It is the packing in the rudder
  4. I had Ski Safe and went to Global Marine and Boat US over a few more bucks a year. I went back to Ski Safe. I had a big loss with a promo boat the first time I was with Ski Safe and they paid within a few days. I never should have left them but had listened to one of the talking heads at USAWATERSKI.
  5. Ski Safe....my Promo boat was run up on shore during a clinic in 2009, paid up within 2 days and my rates didn't go up...policy is $430 a year
  6. Unless drinking and tubing...I will never go over that thing again.............
  7. Sounds fun....however @ Eric Kelley dusting off the jumpers should not be an option for you! Does Danita know this? Do I need to tell her?
  8. A good shot of Cruises Creek in Ky, it caught a picture of the lake drained down in October for digging out the silt.....if you look close on the North end you can see where that Fin Firkin idiot tore (Bruce Baker) up my prop on his boat during the" Summer of Bruce"!
  9. Won't help......he is required to wear a helmet at all times.......he is a Firkin disaster......
  10. @Horton.....I agree! Both elbows were in tournaments, I skier fell around the ball and his arm went through the handle, the other was an idiot who missed the ball and then hooked his arm through the rope to ride back to the dock but skied over and buried his tip in the wake.....now in Mr Firkin's case it was just one of his many incidents during the "Summer of Bruce". He skied several times without running a pass...then after he ran one he broke his ski on the next pass. Then ordered a new Goode, it came in with a different bottom than it was supposed to have. He sent it back and pulled out a ski he had in his garage since Carter was President and on the first attempt getting up popped his bicep. Next a nice fat speeding ticket pulling his boat to the regionals. A couple of weeks later he brought his boat to the lake to pull me since mine was sold and on the first pass put it in reverse at the end of the lake pulling something of the bottom and destroying the prop...he looks at me said....glad your prop was on my boat, then I dropped his keyway and nut in the lake pulling it off. Then to top it off he went deer hunting in his Porshe taking out the driver's side......did I miss anything Firkin??????
  11. Since I'm trying to be a kinder and gentler person I will not fire back....maybe Mr Firkin you can teach me to drive you without hurting you. You are the 3rd serious arm injury when I have happened to be behind the wheel. The other 2 were dislocated elbows.....maybe another Summer of Bruce and you can join that club! Also the Fin Firkin was supposed to be autographed......
  12. I just ordered my 28th boat and resell red is by far the easiest to sell, surprisingly yellow and black sell easy also.
  13. You must have forgotten you were in Florida and all of waterskiing revolves around them.....yelling back usually shuts them up quick.......
  14. Big Dawg skier Kyle Jones back in the day of hand driving was famous for giving drivers fits, plus breaking ropes and handles. He popped a handle free skiing @ 39.5 off and sent the handle through the back fiberglass of a 1991 Nautique. we would always take cover when he slammed the 1-3-5
  15. Call the promo member you purchased it from....he has all the numbers you need
  16. Did it feel WAY more different than the rope you had been using that was 2 feet too long??????
  17. I didn't ask the total but saw a pile of entries this weekend.....I know there are spots left....email Bob....rbtharris@yahoo.com
  18. Nicky......go have daddy pull you in that old Malibu......
  19. Lol! Wow CC has the imaginations running wild.....great marketing....MS I do have my new one ordered and they wouldn't tell me anything so I told them surprise me and just send me one!!
  20. The plate is the same shape as the bottom of the boat, on the boat I had problems with there was visible gel coat (about an1/8) below where the plate was placed. I just measured how much was visible and moved the holes enough to make it even with the bottom of the boat. Take your time breaking the adhesive loose between the plate and boat. I marked the plate and used a drill press to get the holes perfect.
