  1. I was standing with Chad, he walked to the dock to talk to Jason when it happened.
  2. Had the lake lights on tonight and have not seen a site lit up so well! Should be some great scores.....lakes are settling awesome!
  3. I'm betting one or more of the women will be standing on the podium!!!
  4. The power factor has nothing to do with softness from the second wake in....it adjusts the baseline speed into the course, lower the number the slower the entry speed down to a 4....it is depressed more by a higher letter up to a "T". Back to the post.....I had the same thing happen with a 200 this past week twice out of hundreds of times into the ramp but I do not believe it was a puck problem as the boat did nothing out of the ordinary.
  5. I drove the same boat this weekend and didn't think it was all that bad as the feedback I heard from drivers last week. It does have a lot of torque on the rudder and the owner has worked on it three times. I did have a problem with my first 36 mph skier that was my fault as I over estimated the power and under drove the boat around the turn island barely making 36 mph before the gates. The boat is very loud inside and the torque is a pain, however I pulled some very strong skiers and had zero problems setting it right down the middle and giving the skiers a good pull. The boat does have the same old Mastercraft handling feel and the windshield sucks as the rope hits you in the back of the neck when the skier pulls out. Overall my opinion is it is a much better product than before and has an awesome wake but it has a long way to go. There is so much marketing goes on these websites. I spent many hours this week in all of the big 4 boats and they all have their good and bad points. Before making decisions on a boat it is best to get all 4 on the same lake and drive them pulling different levels of skiers.....there is one that is far above the rest but they all when set up correctly can get the job done.
  6. Spent last week at the site things are looking great. The lakes are skiing awesome and should be some big scores......I'm cheering on Regina........
  7. Things are coming together! Looking forward to a good time and great event! http://www.kentuckywaterski.org/InHisWakesHeadToHead.html
  8. It is the point of it.I finally gave in due to a small amount of Senior Drivers in my state. More rules and continuing to milk volunteers (all officials)out of more cash while a large number sits on the shore and waits to ski so they can leave.
  9. Good luck in the south, it has been brought up twice at the SR meeting and falls to the Fl bickering about the R tournaments. Greg has done an awesome job in Ohio. Bucks have a team??? Roll Tide!
  10. @shane.....you either have a completely stripped promo or are talking about under 55 after your credits are added and if you pull it very far they don't add up. A Team CB is more than that! (your contract prohibits you from discussing it also)
  11. CC was down to a low number but has gained quite a few back, the roster does include two dealers and wakeboard boats
  12. Keep them clean, dry inside so they smell new when you go to sell them, don't try to make money but just break even and if there is a problem later on hook them up with the right people to get it taken care of as they will come back if treated right. Don't take them to sites that treat the boat rough. I'm on my 24th CC and have only sold 5 in state. When someone starts the conversation by telling you they are interested but point out what they don't like end it quickly. Set the price fair and don't negotiate......People think Promo's get awesome deals but that is not the case. You are first to a tourney and last to leave and the following day is cleaning the boat.
  13. Tater canski on a boat paddle and make it look easy!!!
  14. Numbers don't lie.....but liars do numbers! You can't go to a tournament in the state of Florida for under $125 per person. The bank accounts for the state and region are unreal and the people in charge will not spend it to promote anything other than their personal agendas. The sport is bleeding to death and these old control farts will drive it that way unless some changes are made.
  15. Wasted 2 years on a Strada, went to a Nano Twist mid-ride and picked up a full pass the first day, have been on it for 3 weeks now and running 35 easier than I ever have.
  16. Many sites pick their own drivers and have them listed before the Chief driver gets on site....
  17. Eric Kelly who placed 4th is over easily over 200
