  1. I got mine from Chris Eller at Coble's, One text and I had it in a week
  2. Kuno Ritschard is an idiot. When questioned his comment was about USA and Trump's beliefs
  3. Leon, Call the Paducah group, they got a new Malibu this week. Also Pat Enwald in Northern Ky has a Mastercraft again this year, I called him for our tournament
  4. LOL! #7 is hilarious!!!! A Chief Judge accused me of flipping off the end course camera at regionals one year but was actually flipping off Lyman and Gordon for standing at the end of the lake watching my boat path
  5. Everyone needs to read these posts from the beginning....this is EXACTLY what is killing this sport. It is a political hobby from the top down, including boat manufacturer's, ski manufacturers all the way down to personal agenda's because someone's kid can't beat another's across the state or some old retired fart that feels the need to control something. I sat in countless regional meeting watching and participating in hours of arguments on rules and procedures only to find out that once it passed and someone ran the numbers it would only affect one person or family in the entire region and it just so happened to be the person arguing it. It has become too much of a headache to even attempt to have a tournament with so many sticking their paws in the cookie jar and for what???? A hobby we are supposed to enjoy!
  6. Fin Firkin is the way to go.....I was at Firkin International the other night and got to see some of the product development going on daily. Due to a bet I also received the first floating Firkin signed by the CEO. Since his injury all of his efforts have been in his products and maintaining a Level 9 smartass rating. Now with a floating Firkin his sales tactics of kicking Firkins off the dock are useless and the Board of Directors will be raising the price a little to offset the decline in repeat customers.
  7. I understand....if a trailer tire gets low, I sell the boat
  8. Once you turn the master switch, wait 15-30 seconds before you hit start.....should cure it
  9. @brettmainer Speak it Brother!!! I'm sure you have learned the art of ending the conversation as soon as they tell you about the other boat.....I talk over them with that's the boat you should buy as I'm already walking away.
  10. Promo team members continue to drop and will continue to do so if things don't change. Support is non existent, if you have a problem you have to call one of the old school former employees to get anything done. Funny how when you tell them what a problem is the first thing they say is "we have not heard of that happening before", You need to call your dealer (when you know of several).....Do the dealers support us...no...do I blame them...no...they want to sell new a boat, that's food on their table. I went over 12 years without advertising a boat and had buyers lined up 3 years out, since 2010 I have wondered each year if this is my last one, now I load them out in case I end up keeping it. I don't make a dime off the boats as I sell them for exactly what I have in them and have made up my mind I will not lose to have a new boat or travel to a tournament that will get deep in my pocket. The market seems to change year to year. I could have sold last years boat 10 times over, this year I have the same colors and one of the better ones I have had but just had the same old tire kickers looking to tell me what my boat is worth. As a promo I do appreciate the sites that do try to take care of us and think long and hard about going to the ones that don't. It makes me laugh when I see people at tournaments say what the promo guys should and shouldn't do when they have never walked in their shoes....and they always seem to be the guys who show up, ski, and leave!
  11. @Ilivetoski My perspective little Nikki is I'm not sure where you're getting your numbers from..... Tell me a specific numbers of boats that manufactures build and what their profit margins are ......I asked you to tell me about the boat you have bought.....I'm on number 28....I find it interesting that someone has never bought a ski or paid their own entry fee has so much information on boats
  12. @Ilivetoski .... Interesting perspective you have there… Please tell me about the boat you have bought
  13. Interested to see how it goes......I rode Goode's for 18 years and tried several of Lance's D3's through the years and didn't like them but the Arc is a different animal
  14. Something worked....you won regionals?
  15. @Leon...you know me well enough I don't buy into ski hype easily but make no mistake it's wine not koolaid....I have both of them set up at 29.75
  16. My buddy that is switching out with me also thought the blue was much faster but he likes the yellow better. I'm at 2.45, 6.940, .730, wing at 7 degrees and the bindings are on the center holes....going to move them back one hole in the morning.
  17. Rode the Blue one for a week and got very comfortable with it, then got on the yellow for a week and found it to be very similar, not as fast or stable out of the turns. My buddy went from the yellow to the blue and agreed the blue was much faster. Last night I switched back to the blue and my passes were effortless (sealed the deal for me). However my buddy got back on the yellow and likes it better. With that said they are very similar, well made, and dealing with D3 has been a pleasant experience compared to past experiences with ........well you know
  18. I have been on Goode's since 98, I called D3 and ordered an Arc and Arc-s. The lady was very nice said I would receive a tracking number in a few hours and a text from Paul with the recommended settings and within a few hours I did. The skis arrived and when I opened them I was surprised how nice they looked, both in D3 ski socks, all of the hardware and tools included. I set the Arc-s today and took in for 2 sets. I was amazed with the ease to get out to the ball and the angle I could generate out of my offside. I was not breathing hard as I normally do after passes. The second set I pushed the ski quite a bit harder and ended up skiing my best pass of the season. My buddy who skis on a Quest set up the Arc and tied his best pass of the season his first set. I plan to ski the S all next week and switch over to the yellow next Sunday. I have a feeling I will be putting the Nano xt on Ski-it-again. We were laughing as the ARC was marked cosmetic blem new trial ski and we couldn't find the blem.....can't find a Goode without a blem
  19. Firkin boy came through on his bet, a signed Firkin and the first floating proto type out of the new mold
  20. Well the Firkin guy is back at it! There is a new product being tested and soon to be released by its International Headquarters. I have seen the prototype float. Firkin guy had been seen at the starting dock of local tournaments kicking Firkins in the water after the skiers hit the water. He even had the nerve to use his high pressure sales tactic on me by kicking mine off the dock as I got ready to ski and offered to replace it for 29.99....but wait there is more, if I acted quickly he would give me a 2nd Firkin for free....just pay a separate $30 handling fee!
  21. I'm 45 minutes north of Lexington....will gladly pull you
  22. He is back from his injury and training hard. He says Regina is getting beat!
