  1. I have had 8 200's and only had one with a bad bump....at 22 and 28 off it would knock the daylights out of you. I ended up measuring the placement of the hydro-gate and found it to be about an1/8" higher than 2 others onsite. I removed the entire gate and flipped it over and drilled new holes in the mounting plate of the gate. I also had to spend some time getting the linkage adjusted correctly. 1/8" made a huge difference. When I had noticed the problem I had thought it was just my skiing, however after pulling a couple of pro's right after their opening 28 they both asked the position of the gate.
  2. MattP....anyone can ski during the night practice, we pulled skiers until 1 am last year.
  3. Drewsk32, the lower entry helps the younger guys thus the purse is lower. There is not another head to head for the younger guys. I drove them last year and can assure you they had a blast! They were all very thankful of the tourney and I heard many times from them that they hoped it was held again.
  4. What an ugly thing to say! I know your boat will be there.......I'm just wondering about you after you said you had a score to settle with Regina...as far as the one ski thing, I refuse to say it can't get much worse!
  5. The fall of the Firkin guy may have been intentional.....(could be a faked injury, I was there) I'm thinking Regina was tired of his trash talking and he knew what she might do with that 2 ball. The Firkin guy has agreed to having his boat there to pull the tournament and provide a special FIRKIN's to the top 16 but I doubt he will show! I will be looking for my signed edition Firkin as he stated when my bouy count exceeded his he would produce it and his spiral has begun!! I'm looking forward to a fun tournament!!!
  6. I don't care if it was a reflection on me or not...I'm just saying the way to make changes is to grab the bull by the horns and get deeply involved. I served 9 years on the council and have driven many R tourneys and regionals.....a few years of a break and I will do it again
  7. LOL! It keeps getting better. I know the driver's your speaking of and know that the assistant CD set the timers in all of the boats at that regionals as I had asked him to do so. I also think that until you have been in that seat at a big event, it is better to refrain from being a Monday morning quarterback. I pay attention at tournaments that I'm not the CD as there is always something to learn from others. The driver was also more of a single event driver in jump. I have heard your sentiments and brought them up at the Regional meetings. The Federation meeting is always in November and a Council position is up, I would suggest you run for that seat and push the SR for a change. Be prepared for questions and stances from other states and LOC's. Bottom line of this thread is to practice, practice, practice and go to other states and get in the boat as much as possible. Nothing pisses me off more than someone to come up at a tournament and say, could you put me in the boat for a couple of skiers so I can keep my rating....glad they can't read my mind.
  8. It's not about politics or ass kissing....get out of your own backyard, get with the guys who have been pulling the big tournaments and learn from them.....and the best tip is to pull the kids as much as possible.......too many drivers think it is about them....it is all about the skier...if they don't notice you, you have done your job. I'm never "torn" as CD.....someone dropping money deserves the best possible pull.....it's not personal

    ZO Surging

They don't fail completely they are just too slow to react causing the boat to surge.....I have been testing pucks all morning and had one from last year and one of the new ones that were unacceptable today. My boat will show up at your tournament next week with one puck on it.

    ZO Surging

Leon you are close....the system will work with one puck, however if both are connected and one is bad the boat will act erratic depending on which pick the GPS locks on to when the boat is started. They should be tested with only one connected, once the system locks onto a puck it will stay on that puck until the system is turned off with the red switch on the kick plate below the driver.....I am on puck #5 in my 15
  11. Hey Firkin Fag! Since it is Memorial day weekend I thought I would check in on that bout count you were bragging about. is it about 5 right now? I don't think I have seen you run a pass....however I have seen some out the fronts....a Goode 9600 broken in half.....and monkey screwing a football trying to figure out the XT.....on btw.....thanks for the Firkin.....not sure if I can use it with the performances you are putting on so far!
  12. Oh horse nipples! I was standing next to Regina when everyone busted out laughing!!! However I admit those were some awesome deep water starts you did, the water barely beaded up on your head....And yes many of those scores are 3rd round off the dock at 35.....and you must forget easily....I see your chrome dome skiing in the mirror 3 times a week which really makes me question those scores!! Again stay away from the dog....Firker!
  13. Firk you too BobH!!! I'm ganged up on by twin Chrome Domes! Although your illusions are somewhat correct neither give the entire picture! I did enter your room at a very late hour....but was extremely wasted and you and Miss Terri were in the room I always sleep in...but don' flatter yourself as you were not the only one in the room. Firkin Guy...you made my dog that way and speaking of your bouy count..."You are only as good as your last tourney".....it makes me wonder how valid those "C" tourneys you go to in the Midwest....if I remember the last tourney you skied I don't remember you getting through the first pass but once in 3 rounds and the last one talking trash to Regina. Oh what happened???? We could not tell, but the crash was incredible....and where did that power bouy end up.....I know you walked funny the rest of the weekend! Stay away from my dog MotherFirker!
  14. I'm not sure about this Firkin Fella as he is firkin weird and light in the loafers. He brought his Firkin to the lake and something either in his production methods or something that was in his truck where his Firkins were laying drove the dogs nuts! I am seriously considering litigation against him. My ski was on the dock with the Firkin properly installed and the dog began to hump my ski, then he got locked up and even after throwing him in the lake I could not get him free from the ski. After many attempts to get the Firkin Fella to pay the bill he refuses. My dog acts strange around him also, I think he feels violated.........
  15. There was a thread looking for drop in carpet sometime back. The is a one piece with heavy rubber backing being made in Fl now. Text 863.605.0340 for pictures
  16. @Bishop8950....exciting for the competitors and exciting for the spectators. The first time at Nationals I was amazed how many people lined the shore to enjoy the tournament. When was the last time so many people gathered at Nationals to watch one event???? The In His Wakes Bikini Pro's vs Joe's had the same atmosphere, there were people out there until after 1AM both nights enjoying waterskiing....that does not happen a lot. My opinion......
  17. Great picture of Bruce and Regina, maybe add a picture of him walking after having that 2 ball removed from his rear after that crash.....that was an awesome splash under the lights.....did he ever pay for destroying that ball?
  18. @ThisUserNameIsDumb.......I'm guessing you are someone from the UC ski team that Ilivetoski has stepped on their toes or pissed off......
  19. The tournament was a lot of fun! I learned that talking trash to April would not effect the outcome of my head to head with her! However it did get a response from Chis....."Way to go....you could have at least made her work"....I thought I did...she had 2 extra deep water starts!
  20. I'm with Jim, I loved the 196 but hands down would rather have the 200
  21. UK is pretty far from any ski sites....where do you plan to ski? The old club had a Mastercraft and a ton of donated equipment. I would look up Jay Frucci, UK's club was doing very well when he was running it
  22. We are a small club....750 a year...respect each other and carry your weight...good friends and it works well...Use your own boat and provide your own gas
  23. The door has been opened to drop the regional requirement with this backdoor deal for WPB....
