    These days I’d say it’s rising not falling. This week had it all, TWBC, the SanGervasio ProAm, and the pro tour, along with the pretty much full local tournaments, and busy public lakes.

    It’s been 10 years or more since I rode my tricks - used to ride and do a couple surface tricks a couple times a month for a little cross training a fun break from slalom. There were a few different articles in the mag’s many years ago that suggested slalom skiers ride them to help understand and develop balance on your ski.

    You can always call OJ props directly and tell them what you want to do. They are very knowledgeable and helpful.

    I see similar results @skialex. When measuring my 2020 Vapor from the lower stitch it’s about ~1/8 less ~29 7/8, than measuring the 2023 from the bottom = ~30” so I’ll stick with the 2020’s for now and play with the 2023s more in the fall.

    Match pack tune-up… use the striker to clean up the cap, points and plugs.

    Take a couple weeks off to let a nagging injury heal, stay fit and listen to SprayMakers episode 13 Stay Focused, and while I’m taking time off the water do what @thager said, checking my ski’s set up.

    Were is the measuring point on the new Vapor boot, mounted on the standard Radar aluminum plate? Were the heal of the boot meets the plate, the rear most point a couple inches above the plate? Are people generally using the same holes in the plate if they are just switching from the older Vapor to the new 2023 boot on the same ski?

    I think it’s just awesome, especially for those of us obsessed with skiing, and it could be a great marketing tool to promote equipment sales, draw in corporate sponsors and other financial support. Nevertheless @6balls makes a good point. Will it draw in many who don’t already participate or follow the sport? Not sure that’s the intent, but it sure was well done, and deserves many accolades!
