  1. I may have one for you. I'm in Minnesota. Pm if interested.
  2. Great tips so far. One thing that was a big help for my kids was manually pulling them in the grass with ski trainer setup (tied together with rope tied to skis). A bit of a workout for mom and dad. Wet grass with hose to make easier. Easy to do and translates directly to water. Make it fun
  3. Way cool on the 9 yr old's interest! Keep her on the water. Who cares about the rest. Nice work!!!
  4. Perfect. I ordered a set from them yesterday. Thx!!
  5. Do we have a connection for camaro gear on BOS?
  6. I think I'm going to try it. My feet froze my first run of the year.
  7. Anybody ever try the camaro socks for cold weather? If so what thickness? Im thinking about trying 0.5 mm
  8. Thanks. They are really proud of that aquathol stuff. Maybe worth a try one of these days.
  9. Nando, just curious how you are getting things under control? I'm familiar with weed infestation in the area.
  10. My neighbor has an xti. I can vouch for the wake. It skis great at 34 mph, 22 and 28' off. Boat is a bit of a handful to drive compared to LXI. Wakeboards good. We can't seem to figure out a decent surf setup. Cool seating arrangement and great access to platform.
  11. I did the upgrade in the spring from Classic to stargazer. I'd recommend going new. It sounds like all stargazer modules are not the same. The newest version works well for me. I tried to piece together a used system and found no real savings out there. Just my 2 cents. Performance ski had best deal at the time. Good luck
  12. Another trick if on a lift is lower hull so that it is in the water but won't float away. Water is still above freezing and buy you a couple weeks. Glad to hear about the diehards!
  13. Thanks for tips! Razorross3 is right. Skiing is about done in our neck of the woods. Ice will be here in the next couple of weeks. I will find a trainer to check my form. So far it feels great. I have very slowly worked up to where I am today. I will add a few sets and continue to add weight. I hope I can stick with it and that it translates in the spring.
  14. I'm taking some advice from the group and adding deadlifts into my workout routine. I always suffer every spring from low back pain so I'm starting now. The question I have is suggested weight and reps? I'm currently incorporating 3 sets of 8 twice a week and have worked up to 200 lbs. Im a smaller guy at 5'9" 175. I don't want to overdue it.
  15. I'm do again as well. Definitely got magnified as the temps got colder. Not hard to do. A bit messy but very doable. Skidim is a great resource for getting the replacement. Then you can put the new one in right after removing old one.
  16. My vapor didn't come alive until I moved the bindings forward one hole. I had the same feeling prior. I'd keep tweaking the setup to make sure there isn't more to give.
  17. Wow! Thanks a ton! You probably saved me a some major disappointment. I was thinking about taking a shot at it as well accept it would have been a 18 hr drive each way for me. Did you low ball him after knowing the real condition of the boat? Probably best to just walk away. We are in same situation. I have an 03 lxi looking to get into a txi or 200. It looked like a good deal. If u ever find yourself in Minneapolis look me up for a pull.
  18. I'm guessing either your mag pickup sensor is bad or the manual timer switch is bad. Unplug both and see if it goes away. Then replace as necessary. Good luck!
  19. Thanks for the feedback! Sounds like a 67" is the safest route. I do have a nice offer to try before I buy on a 66". We will see.
  20. I have same gloves. Does anyone else think the fingers are crazy skinny? They don't stretch out like the old ones. Probably should have gone w xl
  21. I'm looking for some advice. I'm 170-175lb skier. Skiing at 34mph pb 3@ 28. I am skiing on a 2014 67" vapor alloy. I love the ski but have had the opportunity to ski a couple 66" lithium in free ski. I Plan to look for a used good deal this winter on a lithium. Would you recommend the 66" or 67" for my weight and ability?
  22. I'm not sure if anyone was following this upgrade. If so, I'm very happy with the results of stargazer versus pp classic. Less finicky. I did not end up getting zbox. Not zo but plenty good for me. With the right touch to not overshoot set point it works with a short setup. Thanks for those that gave input!
  23. I have 2003 LXI w 340 monsoon as well. 850 hrs. Great boat! Highly recommend stargazer vs traditional pp. You won't be disappointed. Only gripe for me bow will submarine with adults sitting up front.
